Ottawa & Vancouver Full Up, Say Hold The Refugees

Two cities, Vancouver and Ottawa, are taking a break from accepting any more government-assisted Syrian refugees as agencies in both cities try to work through housing bottlenecks.

A surge of arrivals in the last month filled temporary housing to capacity and the settlement groups responsible say they need time to move people into permanent homes before they can accept any new cases.

Meanwhile rent for real Canadians just keeps going up, up, up, and then they have to pay for the permanent homes (which they will never be able to afford for themselves) for these scum rapists through their taxes.

I hope all the women who voted for this mongoloid get raped relentlessly.

There’s a lot of comment in the local papers as to “if we can find accommodation for the refugees, why not for homeless, particularly veterans”? My response to this whole issue has been to increase donations to those agencies who are trying to get the locals back on track. Have a nasty feeling, however, that the “generosity” from a lot of landlords is because they see guaranteed rent payments via the feds. Can’t blame them – any business person will go where the profits are, otherwise it’s bankruptcy and layoffs all round. Just wish more of this generosity could have been given earlier to hard-pressed Canadians.
