Palestinian official working in chief negotiator’s office arrested for ‘spying for Israel’

Palestinian security forces have arrested an official working in the office of the chief negotiator Saeb Erekat on charges of allegedly spying for Israel.

The accused official is said to have been working in the Palestinian administration for the past two decades, Palestinian media reported.

The arrested man – who remains unnamed – was apprehended earlier this month. He is currently being held by Palestinian security forces.
