Palestinian leaders’ self interest militates against peace

A few weeks ago, the Huffington Post published an article by Omar Alnatour, a pro-Palestinian activist who describes himself as a humanitarian. In the piece, Alnatour rehearses the familiar tropes about the suffering of young children in Gaza during the 2014 war between Israel and Hamas.

The conflict is not a religious one, Alnatour reports, but is really a “secular humanitarian crisis.” In this crisis, Palestinian suffering is all Israel’s fault, Hamas did nothing wrong, and the world really needs to do something to help the Palestinian people.

“Justice” is the way to peace, Alnatour opines.

I’m sure the United Church Observer website, will have a major feature story on him.

As long as the money trail remains wide open, this state of affairs will persist.

    • Islamic theology is the problem. The Koran tells Muslims to kill the Jews (and all other non-Muslims.)

Why is this simple, and obvious, issue overlooked by so many?

All the rhetoric in the world will not change one thing about the fantasized “Palestinian” problem.

Without a significant reformation of Islamic theological texts, the world wide problem of Islam will continue to grow.

The long term event horizon looks bad.

Why is this simple, and obvious, issue overlooked by so many?

Because the antipathy towards Jews is far more widespread than we would like to believe.

If a HuffPo writer tripped over their own shoelaces they’d blame the Jews.

Strange that Christian Israeli Arabs don’t seem to be suffering all that much. Arab Christian women in Israel have the highest levels of education than women of any other religious group, Jews included. Overall, Christian Arab Israelis out-perform almost every group in Israel. They’re too busy getting ahead, making money and educating their children to buy into any of this overwrought self-pity pumped out by their Muslim kith and kin.

Pundits like Omar Alnatour explain all of this away by never talking about it. The education/salary gaps between Muslim Arabs and Christian Arabs in Israel is astounding.
