New York Times flirts with gender-neutral “Mx”

From :

The following appeared in a New York Times story over the weekend: “Mx. Hardwick, 27, who prefers not to be assigned a gender — and also insists on the gender-neutral Mx. in place of Ms. or Mr. — is a staff member at Bluestockings.”

Breitbart writer comments,

How stupid. More.

Reality check: It’s not stupid at all.

In an age when few of these people will be needed to do any traditional job, as such, they are nailing down social extortion and economic rent based on their “identity.”

The big losers are traditional middle and working class people who do not even understand what is happening, let alone vote their own best interests.

The question isn’t whether the legacy media can change the language; it is whether they can insert themselves into and disrupt everyday normal communications. That is a key progressive goal, sometimes marketed as “fighting hate.” Usually ending with a redistribution of goods toward themselves.

Some sort of ongoing “reparations” is the ultimate goal, of course, as it can be compelled.

Seems reasonable, providing the Mxs can supply official confirmation they have been spayed or neutered.
Oops! Hope that isn’t sexist and phobic.

      But, I hope it is.

What do you expect from the New York Slimes? Thoughtful, meaningful discourse? They stopped doing that decades ago – now it is PC on wheels, and ONLY PC.

This really confuses me now that I am trying to figure out the equation of a line.
What does y = mx + b even mean anymore?

    • Minicapt

It means the line is no longer straight.

    They’re fucking morons.

Would the Times also support ending “He” and “She” in divorce court?
