Steyn: When the Arab Spring Blooms in Paris and San Bernardino…

By the way, what does “vetting” even mean? In a multiculti world, you can believe everything Caliph al-Baghdadi does – that infidels are unclean, that women are the property of men and should be forbidden to feel sunlight on their faces, that homosexuals should be tossed off the roofs of buildings, that apostasy should be punishable by death, that Sharia should be introduced in western nations, and that the Islamic crescent should one day fly from the White House and Buckingham Palace and tthe Élysée and St Peter’s. And Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have no problem with that, as long as you don’t actually build a pipe bomb or blow up an airliner.

So there is no actual way of “vetting” anybody until after you’ve left a big pile of body parts all over the floor.

What a writer. A Voltaire. How I honour him. I took a weeks vacation to support him in Vancouver during his HRC ordeal…..he actually touched me to pass a note along to Julian Porter.

You need a certain head space to read Steyn.
I’m only on my first bourbon.

        My favourite:
“Stop waiting to elect the right person to do the right thing.
Make the wrong person do the right thing.”

I need a certain head space to write prose.
And I appreciate Steyn for that.
Can’t do it like he can because he seems like he is On all the time.

Nah. His output ain’t that prolific.
Who knows, maybe the snark builds up while he’s singing Christmas songs?
