Germany ‘draws up plans to prevent sharing intelligence’ with Nato ally Turkey

Germany has reportedly drawn up plans to prevent sharing intelligence with its Nato ally Turkey as it prepares to support international air strikes against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil).

German Tornado aircraft are to commence reconnaissance flights over Syria and Iraq after the country’s parliament on Friday voted to deploy up to 1,200 military personnel.

Expelling Turkey from NATO would be apparently too obvious of a move for them.

Even when their actions demonstrate that they know Turkey is their enemy, they can’t bring themselves to admit it. Meanwhile Sultan Erdogan has a license to shoot down Russian planes or do anything else he wants, knowing that NATO will prop him up.

Wonder if Emperor Barry and Sultan Erdogan will both insist on being given a veto over the remotest sand dunes she approves as high value targets?

Germany will be sending the best of its Tornados.
Almost half of their entire fleet of Tornados is unsafe to fly.
The German Defence Ministry has revealed only 29 of the country’s 66 Tornado jets are airworthy.

Everyone needs new Warthogs or a decent replacement for the present inventory of flying junk piles too, but nobody wants to bend the tin?
      Strange world.

The military keeps saying the Warthog is no longer capable of doing it’s assigned duties. Maybe they should ask the Marines. They love that ugly pig of an aircraft.
