This is Islam

Are Christianity and Islam equally violent?

This one is making the rounds, both on ABC’s The View and by a religious leftist who says we need to wrestle with violence in the Scriptures.

The hostesses of The View says Hitler was a Christian, so who are Christians today to moralize about ISIS?

To me, it doesn’t matter whether, hypothetically, Hitler or Timothy McVeigh yelled “I kill in the name of Christ!”  (Neither one claimed Christianity; both rejected it.)  We would judge them by their fruit and their conformity to the New Testament.

Which bring us to the religious leftist.

If we were equally violent, there would be no Muslims left in the world.

    • Heh;)

Yup! But Christians have a moral compass so once the pisslamist were beaten back they stopped. I imagine when the collapse comes and war breaks out it will have the same ending which is only a delaying tactic for a few generations.

Christians have a moral compass ….

islam has NO ethics, NO golden rule

        • Blacksmith

          Exactly right.

I actually overheard Whoopie make that “Hitler was a Christian” crack (yes, poor me).

As Kathy likes to say, “OK, Google me up the name of his priest. Should be easy.”

    Hitler greatly admired Islam.

Likewise, Islam does not have a Talmud to reinterpret and modify the sacred texts.

mo designed the koran to be ‘perfect and unchangeable’
Thus, to even consider commentary is
blasphemy and the penalty is you know what.

Next time you need a rebuttal:

Are Judaism and Christianity as Violent as Islam?

    • Billy Bob Thornton

Bush called himself an Evangelical which led to the slaughter of 1 million Iraqis in his illegal invasion of Iraq.

The religion of genocide: More people are killed by Islamists each year than in all 350 years of the Spanish Inquisition combined

The Spanish inquisition (Tribunal del Santo Oficio de la Inquisición) from 1478 to 1834 was established due to muslim invasions. It was the war and battle to try and end Islamic infiltration, Arab fascism and conquest. It’s quite interesting how similar to muslims their methodology was. Was it habit by long association under muslim rule or a strategy?

Note: The Spanish Inquisition was an answer to the multi-religious nature of Spanish society following the reconquest of the Iberian Peninsula from the Muslim Moors.

Since over half of Islamic doctrine is about Kafirs (non-Muslims), Muslims it follows that prayers would include Kafirs too, so every day, a Muslim prays for the punishment and suffering of all Kafirs. The prayers also follow the Koranic doctrine that Muslims are not to be a true friend of them. Muslims are to forsake and turn away from Kafirs.

Hitler was not a Christian. A Christian is someone who follows the teachings of Christ and believes what he said about himself. Hitler went to church as a child. He tried to find relics and talismans of Christianity because he believed they might have some magic power. He believed in magic.

    • Billy Bob Thornton

“Christians tend not to act like their Messiah” – Mahatma Gandhi.

      • Pavelina

Then they are not Christians, no matter what they call themselves.

      • Zaba

        A search for:

did ghandi say “Christians tend not to act like their Messiah”

        brought zero results.

Your search – did ghandi say “Christians tend not to act like their Messiah” – did not match any documents.

        • Jabberwokk

I’ve heard of it. Phrased differently: “I like your Christ, I don’t like your christians.” Also ghandi carried a new testament with him for most of his life.

      • Jabberwokk

So then that suggests that the answer is more Christianity not less.
