Happy Abortions on Catholic Church

‘Happy abortions’: Vandal attacks Catholic church with anti-life graffiti

WELLAND, ON, October 30, 2015 (LifeSiteNews) – A vandalism attack that left St. Mary’s Catholic Church property defaced with anti-Catholic and anti-life graffiti has left parish priest Fr. Raymond Fenech Gonzi not only with a troublesome, costly clean-up job but several mysteries.

Not only is he puzzled why someone would spray an anti-Catholic obscenity on the rectory’s garage door, as well as “Happy abortions” on the side of the adjacent church hall, where Welland Port Colborne Pro-Life association has an office; but he also wonders why the church was vandalized sometime between Wednesday evening, when he came home, and Thursday morning, when the secretary discovered the graffiti.

The police are not looking into it. Because this isn’t a hate crime obviously.

Staff Sgt. Paul Rogers said it’s unlikely that the culprit will be caught, “unless someone saw something and comes forward at some point.”

In the meantime, he said police are asking neighbours to “keep an eye out and if they see something give us a call.”

  • There was graffiti left on this church before but this is the most brazen and vulgar.

    Looks like Michael Coren’s handwriting.

My first impression of Michael Coren was his mug in a newspaper byline.
      Gap toothed bastard.
First impressions are ignored at our peril.

Now, if it was a mosque….

If it was a mosque they would have discovered a self inflicted false flag and forgotten about it.

But if you vandalize an abortion mill, the left demands “hate crime charges.”

The only positive thing I can see from a new Liberal government is someone challenging them to write an abortion law.
      We don’t have one.
The third rail of Canadian politics has been abortion.
There is a point in a pregnancy where the baby actually becomes viable.
You should not be able to kill a viable child the day before it is born because you are pro choice.

        Isn’t that called conception?

        • dance…dancetotheradio

Have you ever heard of a molar pregnancy?

          • Xavier

Until now, no. What I see is it is basically a tumor that would never have become a human being.

Please don’t take my initial comment negatively. I’m not making any argument for or against abortion here – I simply happen to think that it is blindingly obvious that life begins at conception.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            We conceived a tumour.
Prior to that we thought we were having another baby and I had to face every opinion I had ever had on abortion.
We were a stable family with children already, maybe economically uncertain at the time, but with no good reason to not have another child.
God put that on the table and then he took it away.
To teach me a lesson I guess.
I don’t want to get too far into the metaphysics of it but I believe that there is a window for people to have kids.
When they are secure self supporting adults.
Other people choose to be the children of these people before they are born.

Hmm…I remember working a contract years ago and coming away with one piece of new information ad it is this. Welland is the most corrupt municipality in Ontario, and has been for decades. The rot runs deep. We have avoided Welland for a couple of decades now. Tim Hudak is from Welland….that fact confronted us hard as conservatives back when Hudak was leader of the provincial Conservatives.

    • canminuteman

That’s good to know. I rather like Welland and nearly moved there once.

As I get older, I see more of this choice being made.
You like one party but the top is corrupt so instead of voting them in you vote for ripping off the bandaid and hope your enemies don’t screw everything up too much while they are in power.

When the vandals no longer become useful to society (if they ever were) and to their family members it will be those people who will want to wish them a “happy euthanasia”.

Those pro-choice folks are such law abiding people aren’t they?
