I’m trying to understand what the problem is here.

I fail to see a problem here. If you’re going to act like a punk you’re going to be treated like one.

Maybe its time to use some different equipment for these cases. I think it was the Romans who used to use nets to capture people. Bring a net and throw it over the punk. Then cinch up whatever drawstrings are in the net and drag it out like a package. And in this case, if that means bringing along the chair, so be it. The person tied up in the net is restrained, which is the first goal, and can be left that way as long as it takes for them to calm down and become cooperative. In fact, this is probably a good approach for many cases of disturbed but not otherwise dangerous people. For those who are being unruly, they can be carried with the net hanging from a long pole just like a captured animal. Now that would make for good YouTube video.

I just use a jammer device I bought from a spy shop in Dallas back about 10 years ago. Throw the switch, and wifi is crippled. Same goes for phone signals. Zero personal electronic device policy in my History classes.

I guess some people forget that the purpose of the police is to get uncooperative people to be cooperative.

I smell a White House invite here.

Perhaps the police or security people should tell the school admin to handle their own problems. Let’s see how they would handle these whiny brats.
