Hundreds of terror suspects have disappeared as a ‘direct result’ of Edward Snowden’s intelligence leak, US reveals

Hundreds of terror suspects have disappeared as a ‘direct result’ of the mass leak of classified information by fugitive US spy Edward Snowden, a top security chief has revealed.

US National Security Agency chief Richard Ledgett dismissed claims that Snowden was a ‘whistleblower’ and claimed he had alerted fanatics to the ways security agencies were keeping the public safe.

Snowden – a former NSA contractor who is now living in Moscow under the protection of the Putin regime – fled the US after leaking details about the government’s surveillance programmes.

  • Hipster Snowden undoubtedly works for the Russian intelligence.

“Works for” may be a bit of a stretch. More like.. witless tool of …

      • I bet he was recruited. He is a pothead Ron Paul cult following Libertarian and the Russians recruited him to spy on America.

Can’t have free citizens now, can we?

          • We are free.

          • FactsWillOut

Free to own handguns like a PPK? Free to carry them around? Free to distill alcohol? Free to sell 100 watt incandescent light bulbs? Free to sell diary products to our friends? Free to own cows? Free to strap a motor to a bicycle and ride around on it? Free to keep a nice, shiny bullet on a shelf? Free to brew beer or wine and sell it? Free to sleep in our cars? Free to have a beer in a boat?

I could go on, but you get the idea: We are far from free.

          • Do you live in Iran?

Disappeared can be taken many ways. They changed the way the communicate and are now better hidden. Putin sent the Specnaz to liquidate them. They died in some no name village in Syria by some ISIS terrorist for being spies when they talked too much on the the internet.

  • El Martyachi

I broke a 10 year friendship over this thing.

  • WalterBannon

They did not disappear, they are now on staff with odious scumbags like Obama and Turdeau.

  • He’s now safe under the protection of a freedom-loving government that doesn’t conduct such nefarious and underhanded surveillance.

  • Ken

In the good old days, they used to hang a**holes like him.

    Snowden is a hero.
The US won’t even say “Islam” on it’s terror briefs.
The missing suspects are no doubt part of the “vast right-wing conspiracy” who so threaten us.

  • FactsWillOut

The NSA says Snowden is a bad guy, and everybody here believes them. What a bunch of idiots.
At worst, I see it like this:
Russia is actually killing more jihadists than the west, and not inviting jihadists into Russia, unlike the west. Snowden is in Russia. Any terrorist that has disappeared probably did so in a pink cloud. Of course, the US admin would probably want to give them dignified Islamic burials at sea like they did for Osama.

      Where is ‘here’?

      • FactsWillOut

Look at all the other comments.

        • Xavier

I won’t jump into this discussion – you and I have already covered it. But I would caution you, as a friend, against calling people idiots. Some may find it offensive, and it doesn’t help your case.

          • FactsWillOut

I’m not here to “help my case”. Offending folk is what I do.

          • Xavier

            Alrighty then.

          • El Martyachi

OK fine, I’m sorry for that time I called you an idiot.

  • Gary

Bullshit. The CIA, Islamist Turkey and Islamist Saudi Arabia have shipped mountains of weapons to Middle Eastern terrorists. Snowden blew the whistle on the corrupt American Elites.

    • Clink9

So what’s the end game? The motivation?

      • FactsWillOut

Water-down freedom loving populations with savages, and use the resulting criminality to relieve us of what few freedoms we have left.

It’s a tried and true commie tactic.

      • Gary

As in all things – Follow the money. War pours billions into Wall Street firms and those firms supply the campaign cash. It also takes the minds of the American Sheeple off our wide open borders.
