Bavaria threatens Merkel with court over refugees

The Bavarian government is threatening to take Chancellor Angela Merkel to the country’s highest court to make her change her refugee policy.

If the federal government does not take the initiative itself to control the number of people coming into the country, the Bavarian government will force it to through the Constitutional Court, the Bavarian government announced on Friday after an emergency meeting of the state cabinet.

Bavarian Minister President Horst Seehofer, of the Christian Social Union (CSU), said that the federal government was threatening “the ability of the German states to act with independence”.

I want to live in that castle.

Imagine taking your morning coffee everyday looking out from one of those towers, or watching sunsets from there. Sigh ….

I wanted to install a gigantic laser at the top of one of those turrets and use that giant laser to carve an adjacent mountain into the shape of a giant skull.

Your idea is fine as well; coffee and sunrises are good too.

    • Me too.

You probably don’t. I’ve been there. It’s only half finished. Building it bankrupt the Kingdom of Bavaria and cost the king “mad Ludwig” his throne.

I’m thinking $300 Million for the castle, $200 Million to finish it, and then another $500 Million for the lasers.
Sure it won’t be cheap, but dreams never are.

“You take them” / “No, YOU take!” / “No, seriously, YOU take them!” ….

    • Bavaria, remember the last time they got angry at Berlin?

      • Solo712

Yup, and the leader of the revolt was then imprisoned at Landsberg.

No way Bavarians will allow the disruption of Oktoberfest.

Without wurst and beer it will be more like Shariajerkoff.

That castle would make a lovely mosque.

I was wondering how many “refugees” it could hold. I understand it’s vacant at the moment.

      • k1962

        Great idea!

I wonder how long the castle will hold once filled with “refugees”…

It could be a Grimm scene.

Merkle is from the former East Germany; once a commie, always a commie.

  • Good for Bavaria – it must push back against Berlins craziness.

This is the Neuschweinstein Castle between Munich and Augsburg, Germany in Fusion, Germany. It is also the castle that Walt Disney took the design from for Cinderella’s castle at Disneyland /World. I’ve been to that castle, you have to walk a mile up the side of the mountain at a 45° angle. It was the summer castle to King Ludwig. A beautiful castle and OMG, the inside of the castle is AWESOME!
