Putin’s fearsome Spetsnaz units are preparing ground assault to ‘wipe out’ rebels fighting the Syrian President

Russia has sent fearsome teams of special forces into Syria to help prop up President Bashar Al Assad, it has been reported.

Vladimir Putin’s crack Spetsnaz units are said to be preparing a ground assault on rebels fighting the Syrian President – most of whom are backed by the West.

They have been ordered to wipe out opponents ‘by any means’.

We’ll see. I am curious to see how Russia will conduct itself.

They do appear to operate without silly “rules of engagement”.

    This one is worth watching.
Listen for the utter sound of silence by the professional left about “civilian casualties”.

    • I think its going to get very bloody.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

They won’t be all touchey feeley that’s for sure.

“Just gear yourself for the disappointment when they start killing Kurds and anyone BUT ISIS.”

      • Drunk_by_Noon

The Russians won’t even bomb ISIS, why do think they will use their ground troops any differently?
They will go after the easy stuff.

        • edlancey

They are. They are also hitting the CIA-sponsored jihadis. They’ve been invited in by the legitimate government of Syria and are attacking all the jihadis, not just ISIS. They dropped a bunkerbuster on Raqqa the other day for example.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

            Think about that.
Recently it was disclosed that there were only four or five that we trained, are you saying the Russians found them?
            What are the odds?

          • edlancey

I was going to write that myself ! A compliment to Russian marksmanship !

America (or “we” as you put it yourself) has been pretending to attack ISIS for more than a year.

Anything the Russkies can do that pisses off Obama, KSA, Qatar and Turkey is fine by me.

Better do your homework,,, the CIA/Qatar/Saudi covert coalition has been funding and arming the Syrian opposition forces in a proxy war to remove Assad.. They want Syria to control oil/gas pipeline routes to Europe.. an economic threat to Russia and Iran. The West intentionally created the environment for “ISIS” to take out Assad and lost control of it..

The enemy of my enemy,,, can backfire

This is a failed proxy war by the US… Russia is cleaning it up..

There are two theories for controlling the ME,, create and support conflicts between groups or topple regimes to install puppet Governments.. Obama tried the latter using the Muslim Brotherhood and the “Arab Spring” and it has failed miserably..

Reagan funded both Iran and Iraq to keep them fighting..

This is a complex chess game loaded with subversion and propaganda from all sides.. there are no “good” guys

We will have to wait and see how this plays out. The rebels have now been warned, so I doubt if they will be surprised.

    • The Butterfly

I’m trying very hard but I can’t hear the left demanding a UN resolution. Nor do I hear them screaming “illegal war” or “no blood for oil”.

Buy a case of beer and a big tub of pork scratchings and sit back and enjoy the show. Where Putin’s hoods have passed there will be nothing left of the Demented Slaves of Allah but rotting corpses. And, when they are finished, we should ask them to come over here and sort out our occupied territories in Bradford, Rotheram, Luton et.al.
Dhimmi Dave can get stuffed, I’d rather have Putin any day when it comes to exterminating the 7th century retards who are trying to take over my country. Just sayin’.

      Go Russia GO!
Crush the barbaric islamic jihadists that are fighting Assad and the American
      fags that are backing them.

    • Waffle

I could be wrong, but wasn’t it the Afghan geography that did them in?

    • Glenfilthie

      I dunno DByN.
Putin is a different stripe of cat. There is no doubt in my mind that there will be a ‘kill ’em all and let God sort ’em out’ – but that is honestly okay by me, Putin and pretty much most of the first world that is sick and tired of moslem bullchit.
I expect those pigs will be driven underground again – Putin will declare a victory, Obama will be wiping chit off his face – and the whole mess will flare up again as soon as the cops are gone.

  • WalterBannon

Vladimir Putin’s crack Spetsnaz units should be sent to Washington with orders to wipe out Obama ‘by any means’…

  • Obama’s Middle East policy – how’s that working out? Democrats!

Be interesting to see an army fight to win, not contain.

Canada’s JTF2 is better than any other special forces group. Said like a true Canuck!

I can’t figure out who is who anymore with regards to Syria and Iraq.

The Russians withdrew from A’stan with their tail between their legs…

Those were Soviets, i.e. Communists, i.e. ideological warriors.
Putin is not a Communist. He has made it clear that his goal is to oppose the disgusting American (Neocon) policy of regime change, tried out in Libya, Egypt, and I might add Ukraine. Americans have pretty obviously been working for a similar regime change in Russia itself, to restore something like the Yeltsin puppet regime that almost destroyed Russia. Putin has no illusions.
If his goal is to defend the Assad regime (Westernized, protector of minorities), then naturally the American supported rebels are pretty nearly as bad as ISIS. ISIS only turned up in the toxic atmosphere of constant warfare that the Americans have been promoting. The American attitude hardly seems Conservative. More like the kind of endless revolution promoted by Trotsky and Mao.

Quick! Somebody draw a red line or write a sternly worded letter!

You gotta do both for it to have any effect…..
