Cop union boss ‘disgusted’ by ugly downtown scene

The ugly downtown scene refers to this incident – Mob taunts police in confrontation caught on video

But wait there’s more…

“A disturbing incident also took place last week in relation to a number of our members during a community outreach initiative,” he said. “Officers from 31 division set up a command vehicle in the area of the Grassways, an Ontario Housing complex off of Jane St at Finch Ave.”

It’s a “densely populated area with a history of drugs and gun and gang violence” and “a command vehicle was set-up as part of a community outreach initiative, as there had been a shooting in the area a week prior.”

The “officers wanted to pro-actively engage with the community and reassure residents that they were safe, as well as welcome any tips on the previous shooting or crimes in general.”

What they got was something that shocked them.

Due to the self censoring by the media I am going to assume the crowd was black
This is just the beginning of the coming race wars. wars that our elites are doing their best to lose before they start

So the Sun doesn’t give the problem a name, and they don’t allow comments any longer so their readers can’t provide the spine the editors are lacking. This is going to end poorly.

    • canminuteman

At least they report on it, which non of the other news media do. And anyone who lives in southern Ontario knows the details anyway.

      • moraywatson

How do we get the “details”? By osmosis?

        • canminuteman

Pretty much. When you live it and see it on a daily basis anyone wold know it was in a black neighbourhood, because it always is. You could argue it’s not even news because it’s a daily occurrence.

    • A bad move by Postmedia, comments are where the real story is found nowadays.

      • Ho Hum

It was an incredibly dumb move by the SUN. The only reason I used to visit that site was to read comments or post comments. They only have about two or three writers worth reading.

WTF??!! I have CTV news network on in the background during the day. Not a word. Not a whisper. Only one mention, late last night. This is anarchy, not “civil disobedience” for pete’s sake. Where is the premieress in all of this? Where is Mr. ‘not a Tory’ Tory? Please show yourselves you cowards and enablers!

“densely populated area with a history of drugs and gun and gang violence”
That’s a polite way of saying it’s a Black neighbothood, right?

    • David Murrell

They’re part of Kathleen Wynne’s voting constituency.

    • Yup, and its no longer even the worst area of Toronto.

  • ontario john

“Black, drug pushing, violent, gang members” Matter!!! And when is something going to be done about the daily knife attacks in Toronto. Downtown leftists need a knife registry in Toronto. Or better yet a complete ban on all types of knives. That will teach those hunter and farmer bastards that come into the city and rampage.

Perhaps the police SHOULD leave these communities–entirely. Forget about outreach in any way, shape or form.

Instead, they should do heavy duty polling in the surrounding communities, and leave these cretins to their own devices. Your aspiring rap star kid gets shot? Too bad. Drug dealers in your neighbourhood? Tough luck, deal with it yourselves. See how long those ungrateful welfare queens last in a “Lord of the Flies” environment. Seems to be how they like it. Let’s face it, it’s not like any of them would be a great loss to society. I doubt the next Canadian Nobel Prize winner is living on social assistance and mouthing off to police.

We should also cut off welfare and housing benefits to these people. Why should taxpayers support anyone who doesn’t support the social contract?

This is what happens when you take a Police Force as it was called and change it to Police Services as it is called now, and start hiring not based on capability but based on quotas of gender, ethnicity en so forth.
Cops used to be confident 200 to 250 lb men that where mentally stable.
What we see now are 100 lb females and nervous guy’s that can not carry themselves with confidence, this results in scarred police officers that act in panic mode wen it gets tough.
A good example is the killing of the guy in the streetcar that got shot 9 times of which 6 when he was down, when you watch that on video you just see the sheer panic of the cop.

Affirmative action is a big problem with Toronto Police. Bill Blair was in a campaign debate and he boasted that as Chief he insisted that 50% of new hires were “visible minorities” i.e. he instituted an anti-white hiring policy which put 50% of jobs out of reach for white men.

Blair fast tracked the current negro Chief of police. There are probably dozens of white officers more qualified for the top job. If I look at a lot of the visible minority new hire they are pathetic human specimens who couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag.

Meanwhile strong confident white guys can’t get hired unless they have a relative on the force. It’s a safe bet that most of the white men who were hired in the last ten years have relatives on the force.

      • Bataviawillem

I don’t care about the color of a cop, but there is a hell of a lot more competent white males than suitable candidates from visible minorities,.
There is a reason that they are called minorities.

Just hope neither Trudope nor Mulcher become PM

Every day I am grateful that Canada is too cold for cotton. However we do have wild rice, and because they are too lazy to organize, they will never be much more than an (expensive) minor annoyance. Also, thank you to the Atlantic Ocean for being too big and wide for the phoney refugees to cross. Now it’s up to our screening systems to vet the ones they’re letting in. I do have hope in that regard.
