It’s Not a New Cold War, It’s Worse

“it’s not a new Cold War,” President Barack Obama insisted in July of 2014. He was right, but Americans properly found this pronouncement of little comfort. The West’s now self-evident and almost open conflict with an expansionist Russia does not represent the start of a new Cold War; it’s much more alarmingly dangerous than that.

    This raises the issue of Russia’s alliance with Iran formed at the time the nuclear agreement was being submitted to Congress. What did Obama know about this and when did he know it? Did he deliberately conceal it from Congress knowing that it would reject the nuclear agreement had the details gotten out?
