For anyone who has had to take a pet to the vet:
We’ve had success by putting the travel box out on the floor for a week in advance, then I sneak up on Pip when he is in a deep sleep and pounce.
I am so lucky. Mine just lets me put her in the cat carrier.
Mine too. Although I had an emergency with Sheldon and could only find the small cat box. It was liking stuffing a doona into its bag.
I’ve heard horror stories….
That is hilarious except that it is the vets that are hiding from my puppy. Geezus –what do I do wrong ? All my dogs have hated vets. They panic when they see a Paki normally,.. from a distance— but up close It is not good.
My dog did not like the vet much, either. One would assume the vets did not like him as he was big but I guess not.

I find it to be extremely difficult to understand why people can get excited over a cat. Cats are NOT a dawg. I have shot one dog and probably about 50 cats. It really did bother me to shoot my olde puppy.
Cats are great.
If you don’t have a dawg.
I think humans are more attuned to a dog’s signals, probably because we’ve evolved together over millennia. Communication with cats is entirely different and you must pay much closer attention to subtle cues. I like both but as I’ve gotten older cats seem to suit me better; they’re less trouble to care for and I find it easier to accept their independence.
Dogs are fully domesticated and don’t do well in the wild. Not so cats.
