Putin and Obama clash over Syria as Russia calls for ‘anti-Hitler’ type alliance against Isil

Vladimir Putin snubbed Barack Obama and revived Russia’s historic role in the Middle East on Monday by calling for a new “broad coalition” to fight Isil based on co-operation with the Assad regime, report Richard Spencer, Harriet Alexander in New York and Roland Oliphant in Moscow.

In his long-awaited speech at the United Nations, the Russian president fiercely attacked American policy in Syria and around the world and criticised the West for “exporting social experiments” in the form of democratic revolutions, which he blamed for the Middle East crisis.

      Is Obama two fisting there?

  • Well, it’s pretty sloppy language on his part, but I still have to say I basically agree with Putin. Obama is a moron (and his guy John Kerry was actually assessed by the former KGB as a possible “asset” during the SALT talks of the ’80s). These are public documents now and CSIS needs to do its homework too. No spying necessary — it’s all public. I’m too lazy to reference it right now, and it’s too late in the night — send me a f**king cheque in the mail!

a friend worked for CSIS .. several barriers, guard shacks , obstructions to get to front door of CSIS HQ. she told husband to pick her up at end of day at rear truck dock. 1 door out you go

      • Okay, so what’s your point? I can only surmise, but exciting looking “guard shacks” and “back doors” probably wane quite quickly. Is CSIS a Hollywood invention?

my point is their security sucks
never mind the shoephone jokes at resturaunt later

          • I dunno, they screwed me pretty bad (or somebody pretending to be them). A guy who used to be able spot an an intel agent from 100 metres away. For survival purposes abroad, not because I was trying to be an NDP victim fake a**hole.

            Can you share your story?

I know that Putin is a very bad man—-but–He is a Strong man that is Patriotic to his Country unlike Obama–that appears to being doing his level best to destroy his Country.

I guess these 2 could probably make a deal.

  • Shebel

I don’t think that Putin has much respect for uppity , mulattos that betray their Country.
I betcha he would like to control him like a puppet on a string.

Who ever would have thought that the President of (the old Soviet Union) Russia would be taking a leadership role in the free world.
Thanks a lot o’bumbler you asshole.

Emperor Barry is just a cardboard front man for marxist imbeciles & crony capitalists.
Czar Putin is much more competent when it comes to sorting out some foreign messes and the maniac players involved. But he still seems to lack commitment to the idea that in the long haul.a prosperous efficient free economy is the vital foundation on which all other components of a competitive cutting edge nation must rest.
