Toronto Star’s Desmond Cole accuses Trudeau of “subtle racism” #elxn42

Subtle Racism?

That means anything that might be regarded as negative about the black community even if it’s not, even if it’s true.

  • Drunk_by_Noon

    Dear Black people,
    You suck.

    • Desmond Cole is a notorious race baiter, its how he makes his living.

I mean I hate Justin but he wasn’t being “racist”.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

As I always say, ‘it’s not racist if it’s true’.

    • Maggat

      You, you, you racist, you.

    • BillyHW

So you’re not a fan of Blacks Invented Peanut Butter Month?

      • Frances

Actually, I always thought peanut butter was invented by George Washington Carver.

        • mobuyus

          He was black.

          • Frances

I know – back in the day, when we had spellers, Dr Carver was one of the subjects we read about.

          • mobuyus

            Frances I remember that book.

    • Liberals have made any talk of race, racist if you are white.

Too bad Trudeau. You got caught up in your own parties PC BS.

  • infedel

Blacks are the biggest racists world over–google it….and islam is the biggest fraud.

    • mobuyus

They do have the thinnest skins.

  • Doo Da Daze

This is a hard one,I can’t stand either of them.

  • sanwin

Desmond Cole, the whiniest black activist I’ve ever had the privilige of being blocked by on Twitter.

    • Doo Da Daze

      Me too.

    • He is really sad, Canada’s Al Sharpton.

      • andycanuck

No. People in the U.S. have actually heard, often, about Sharpton.

    • Clausewitz

I wear it as a badge of honour.

    • Cole is a pathetic racist loser. He claimed that the black supporters of Rob Ford were attracted to him for the free hamburgers:

It’s no wonder that the little race baiter had earned the position of regular columnist for the Star.

      • Doo Da Daze

What are the bets that comments will be closed on his articles?

    • marty_p

The sad thing is that News Talk 1010 provides him with a forum to spew his nonsense every Sunday afternoon.

  • mobuyus

I always knew he was a subtle racist, but I thought it was whites he was subtly racist towards. Excuse me but I must turn myself in to the nearest diversity officer.

  • ontario john

I guess this is what happens when Wynne is too busy driving a tractor at the International Plowing Match today.

  • New Centurion

I’m no JT fan but he didn’t say anything wrong.

  • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

It’s always fun to watch the Leftists prey upon one another for media attention.

  • Shebel

    What is OVERT racism?

    • mobuyus

Report your self immediately to the nearest diversity officer!

  • Shebel

Shit. And here I thought that I would make such a good point.
I guess it is not to be.
Now all the monkees come out to play.
    Fuck it!

  • kkruger71

Again with one of the commenters using the word bizarre (“Trudeau’s bizarre answer”) to describe an opinion they disagree with. Hearing stuff like that more and more all the time from the left, calling the other opinion bizarre, weird, strange, etc., rather than just saying you disagree with it. Can’t attack the substance of it, so throw a label on the opinion to smear anyone that possibly holds it, scaring people away from adopting or expressing it. Can we label these as micro-aggressions and maybe get them to stop?

  • Cat-astrophe

Justin is NOT racist against people of color. Just Canadians in general..

  • Gary

Desmond sees a racist behind every tree.
This is what happens when Black racists parachute into a Black self segregated community in a large city where the majority of refugees and immigrant go to when they arrive.
National head quarters for several Corporation are in Toronto and are forced to meet Diversity quotas based not on STATS-CAN figures, but by the make-up of Toronto which causes a problem because any group that is 5% of the population for Canada may end up being 15% of the make-up for an Office in Toronto.
Desmond assumes that his view of Toronto is that same across Canada now matter which city of town he goes to , but the real racism that he embraces is that he may have been hired to fill a quota and not by merit .
Plus the bigotry of lowered expectation means that Desmond is not expected to perform on the same level as Brown people or Asians , and he can spew hate and racists remarks on the job and not worry about being fired.

It’s now obvious after all these years of HRC’s that the issues for them is NOT to end racism and inequality , it’s to pick which groups can be racists and should get jobs above others even when they didn’t meet the lowest standard.

    • jayme

The non white pop in Ottawa is around 40% yet black groups say companys should by law have to have a quotas of 50% non white.
