“I don’t know what happened before I was born”: Every Vote Counts goes to Ryerson U #elxn42

TheRebel.media’s Jason & Matt turn their attention from the near future — the October election — to the past, as they quiz Ryerson University students on basic Canadian history.

ask them about Israel, they recite their profs latest bigotry with out even thinking.

  • Doug Kursk

I just want to slap all of them…except Kev..he’s ok.

  • Waffle

That was pathetic — both sides. C’mon Ezra and Kevin, you guys can do better than that

  • barryjr

The thought that all those votes counts scares me.

    • canminuteman

Universal suffrage, a concept whose time has passed.

    • Petrilla

Me too. I hope they are too stoned to bother voting, whatever man.

  • BillyHW

    Lol Ryerson “University”!

Note to self: If kids ever say but they only offer that program at Ryerson refer them to the punchline of the rattlesnake bite on the penis joke.

      • Justin St.Denis

When driving near Ryerson, I struggle with the urge to park my car and then SMACK A FEW BETAMALE ASSHOLES just for the sheer hell of it! The only reason I don’t seek help is because my sons tell me they struggle with the same compulsion. 😉

I miss that Die Hipster! Die! blog.

With whiny indian Pam and islam loving Burman teaching there, its a wonder anyone learns anything there that resembles the truth.

I sometimes bet NoFrills, Longos, and Walmart cashiers double or nothing if they can identify the portraits on the $5 $10 $20 Canuck bills. Most can’t. No surprise there,

    • DD_Austin

Can’t read english either, the names are written on the bills

  • Maggat

Good suffering Jesus, we’re in trouble.

    • Petrilla

I think we are in a big world of trouble with 20,000 Syrians coming quicker a la Chris Alexander. When I emailed and said I only wanted Christians or Yazidis I was told, the courts said Canadian had to take any refugee. It,s OK they are coming from refugee camps and not the vile disgusting swarms in Europe, but I think Canadians should be able to choose who we want. Not some court saying who we must take. This is a CANADIAN election. Canadians need to be able to choose who we want to join us in our beautiful land. Apparently the laughable UN and the pathetic unelected judges , who are THEY ANYWAY?? will tell us who we must share our hard fought to be Canadian country, with WHOM? will DARE to dictate to WE Canadians and that just sticks in my damn craw. Does it not stick in yours?

I think I heard this on Rush Limbaugh maybe 10 years ago about the selfishness and ill education of this cohort. History began the day they were born. I suggest this proves it. So sad when I think what my teachers made me suffer through and learn…and it was not about multiculturalsim and how whites in every culture did everything wrong to every other culture and that is why we are now equal. Nope, none of that sheit. The history of our world and how it evolved. Mostly it was how our free Canada and the Western Free World evolved through trial and tribulation, through wars and sacrifice because of Magna Carta. We learned Geography on a map,the WHOLE WORLD, identify the countries, not geography by walking through your own village as my kids had to. I can see the wider world and its ramifications through those old Geography lessons, today’s kids can’t. have never been taught the wider context. Sure they can Google it, but what does it really mean to them. I pity them. And I am angry at an education system that has kept them purposefully stupid…except for ….take a few guesses.
