Election 2015

Whose week was the worst? Not the Conservatives

OTTAWA – Had the Conservatives followed their original game plan for this election year, this would have been the campaign’s first weekend.

The plan that first got approved by the Conservative brain trust had the prime minister making that walk to Rideau Hall on Thursday, Sept. 10 to ask the Governor General to dissolve Parliament.

Much work had been put into a five-week campaign script.

  • We will have a Minority Harper gov’t.

    • Exile1981

As long as it isn’t an ndp and liberal coalition

      • Nah. Won’t happen.

        • Exile1981

It’s unlikely since the turd and multicultural mulcair both have too big of ego’s to make it work but they could still try.

    • A Harper majority.

        Love the picture!

      • One hopes.

I do think fear will move people to vote Tory. After all, who wants a head of hair on a stick to be in charge of the money?

      • Haha. I don’t know about that. But again I don’t believe the media polls.

    • I think that is likely. Trudeau and Mulcair do their level best to screw things up but that still hasn’t gotten rid of all the idiots.

  • Gary

I walked by the NDP and Liberal Campaign Offices near me and what a joke, the Liberal Office front window has a Rainbow flag with a Canada flag , but across the street the NDP window has a Notice to make the pro-sharia homophobic Muslim migrants an Election issue to bring in 10,000 per year .
The NDP also posts a big lie about Refugees being denied Health care coverage . They really want to buy votes by giving FREE Health Care to Tourists that had their bogus refugee fraud case denied and they don’t want to leave.

But tell us NDPer’s , with 7,000,000,000 people outside of Canada where the U.N. claims there are 40,000,000 refugees that are a majority of muslims fleeing islamic oppression and war …..how many do you think we must bring in and how many children are you will to let die that can’t get to Canada if they are the Christian refugees from islam’s barbarism ???

Justin support the pro- sharia muslims coming here that are mainly homophobes and want sharia law as do the muslims in Regent park and Valley Park school , so how odd that the NDP and LIberal are pro-gay but then want anti gay muslims to come here and spew hatred for gays to be killed as in the quran.

    • The NDP are liars.

      • Alain

        As are the Liberals.

      Leftists have a cognitive dissonance.
Actually, I’d call it a hypersonance where they are able to hold competitive versions of the truth in mind at the same time.
      It’s very Orwellian.

ISIS ain’t prejudiced.. they will cut off any head

Why does the Sun persist in calling the young boy “Allan”? His name was “Aylan”, and we should remember him by his correct name, even as we reject the propaganda swirling around his tragic death.

    • Alain

I think because a familiar name is supposed to pull more on the heart strings.

      • Doug Kursk

        yup…a Terry Glavin specialty.

I like tweeting him (and I know he reads here) to let him know people hold him to account for his dissembling.

    • He’s propaganda and little more. Names are for Liberals et al.

  • andycanuck

I would comment but I’m laughing too hard at the Lizzy May photo!

  • mauser 98

investor Kevin O’Leary said any NDP mandate will cause collapse of the dollar

    • David Murrell

I have moved much of my modest portfolio into $US. When Harper loses, expect the $Can to sink below $.70. –DM, Economics, UNB at Fredericton.

      • mauser 98

        sheesh ,, when he loses?
now a headline of 20$ oil … hype..

      • mauser 98

vote splitting will play a big part with polls so close
Stevie may pull a rabbit out yet

    “Not the Conservarives”?

Oh wait. I warch CBC and CTV News, and read the Globe and Mail. According to these national media, the Conservatives had the worst week, just as all the past and future weeks. The fix is in and thru is that.
