Trudeau thinks small businesses are just a way for wealthier Canadians to save on their taxes #elxn42

Last night, CBC’s Peter Mansbridge asked Liberal leader Justin Trudeau where he stood on reducing taxes for small businesses.

  • Exile1981

The turd will do for small businesses what his dad did for alberta.

    • Clink9

      This is Maux’s bum buddy.

King of the Low Information Voter.

a chip off the old block

  • Waffle

Cannon on the loose!! I don’t think that was in the script. Next poll numbers are going to be very interesting.

  • Ron MacDonald

Justin Trudeau–the gift that keeps on giving.

  • Justin also doesn’t think we need to do any security screening for Syrian refugees. In the CTV broadcast this morning, they played video of Justin Trudeau stating re: the Syrian refugee question:

“When my father [Pierre Trudeau] brought Ismaili refugees into this country, he didn’t require them to go through any security screening”.

Except he failed to mention that the Ismaili muslims are considered a peace-loving minority and not known for terrorism. He also failed to mention that the reason they came to Canada as refugees in the first place is because they were being persecuted by the violent Muslim majority!

    Justin Trudeau is a moron.

  • Clear Thinker

Just wait until the liberals discover that average Canadians have invested properly in both rrsp and tfsa formats, and made big bucks. They will then put in a 15% gross wealth tax to penalize those of us who did not “choose poorly”, as the brave knight said to Indiana Jones.

Harooooooon is back, and you are all Christian, Hindu, Jewish bigots. Yes, Haroooooon is back in the Star today.

  • pike bishop

A lot of the taxes saved by being incorporated are lost to increased accounting fees.

  • ismiselemeas

Justin, say after me, fewer taxes. Fewer taxes, not less taxes.

    • Frances

I want both – fewer taxes and less tax.

  • Ed

It’s interesting to watch him. In every situation, his priority in responding to questions is not on content, but dramatic effect. Form over function is not a good characteristic in the job he wants.

    • lolwut?

His only real job was as a drama teacher and he’s a full blown narcissist who’s refereed to himself in the third person. what you expect.

      • Alain

And that was not even a full time teaching position if memory serves.

        • Clausewitz

And he got canned as well.

    • Alain

Form over function also describes Obama.

      • Clausewitz

I believe Just In’s daddy started it all as style over substance.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

The point of gravitas is diminished when it is used every time he opens his mouth.
Someone should do a series of impressions of Trudeau reading mundane things like the instructions on a shampoo bottle or a box of Kraft dinner.

If you guys want to have some fun, post these Rebel media videos in Canadian city Reddits, drives the libtards craaaaaaaaazy..

They will get deleted from most reddits but Calgary and Toronto allows them
but chances are they’ll shadow ban your account, if not ban it outright.

r/Canada mods set up a bot that nukes Rebel media videos within seconds.

After you post you can monitor your status here.,

Good piece by Ezra. And I carefully copied down his numbered corporations, and will but it on my bulletin board for future research. Trudeau just might nose out Mulcair to become the next prince minister.

But I to say it, Ezra based his research from an article, by Glen Macgregor, published in the National Post (page 5 of today’s, Thursday, September 10) paper. Ezra should give the NP some credit. I realize that Macgregor is a nasty, anti-Harperite. But here he did some decent investigative work.

I love the fact that Mansbridge was summing up the point about tax cuts for small businesses, ready to move on to the next question–when Trudeau opens his yap and comes out with a quote that is massively offensive to those of us who are self-employed.

  • Frances

This guy is an EEDJIT. Certainly the tax rate is lower for an incorporated small business, as opposed to a sole proprietorship or unincorporated partnership, but only as long as the money is left in the corporation. When pulled out by the owner, the money is taxed on the owner’s T1 at his marginal tax rate, though there is a break if it’s taken out in dividends rather than as salary. The small business owners I know are all working really hard for not great pay.

However, as well as being a trust fund baby, Justin apparently has several corporations of his own. So he’s speaking from experience: one of the corps was supposedly set up to handle the fees from his speaking engagements. When you can charge large fees plus expenses for showing up and uttering platitudes, and have no expenses worth mentioning, you may well be using the corporate structure to avoid taxes.

  • Trudeau is a hack political clown for the liberals. Without the name “Trudeau” no-one would even know who he was.

The idea he might become the Prime Minister of Canada is as bad as Obama being the president of the US.

    • Bataviawillem

If he would have to make a living on his own merit, he would be standing on a corner selling pencils out of a cup.

  • Alain

That is also a key belief of communism. In the old Soviet Union private property was banned, which meant the end of all the family farms to be replaced by massive state farms centrally managed. I do recall how well that turned out. Another thing the man-child shares with the old Soviet regime is that those in power and control lived the high life while the population suffered from lack of the most basic things. Oh, but he says he has come to protect the middle class.

  • dukestreet

He hasn’t got a clue about anything but the luxury life his trust funds have always given him. If he did get to be PM, I wonder how long it would take him to get bored. Not long at all I suspect. the PM has to work hard and he’s never done that. it appears he wants the fame and power of his name and the PMO,but not the work involved. Do you think he would quit and let someone else do it?

    • Clausewitz

Well considering how little time he showed up at parliament after he was elected, you have a point.

  • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

Says the rich, narcissist, asshole with the inherited, million dollar car!…..
