Overnight Thread…

I am off to dreamland with an early start to the day ahead.

Black Mamba, Osumashi and DB Cooper will be around to keep the home fires burning.

Meanwhile this oddity crossed my path…

BEAT CLUB | The Who, The Troggs, Harry Nilsson, The Merseys, and Sandie Shaw. Beat-Club was a German music program that ran from September 1965 to December 1972

That was fun. Always great to see seldom seen performances from the past. And I’d take the mini skirt over a burka any day of the week.

He’s baaaaaaaaack!!!!!!! Yes the Toronto Star pulling out all its weapons in defeating Harper. Haroooooon is back in the Star today with one of the most rascist opinion pieces that I have ever seen in the Star. The basics are, Harper is evil, Christians are evil, Zionist Jews are evil, and even Hindus are evil. Yes Harper is just pandering to those damn Christians and other religious groups that are picking on poor peace loving muslims. And Harper especially spends to much time worrying about those damn Christians in the Middle East. And of course the Star has a glowing article on Mulcair where the title of the story is Mulcair saying we shouldn’t be fighting ISIS, that it is war that is the problem. And of course the media elites have quickly dropped the story of the NDP spokesperson who ranted about the Catholic Church.

Always loved Reg Presley and The Troggs. I was present during some sessions for the ATHENS ANDOVER album. Precious memories!

Like so many other guys I know, I could only take The Who in smaller doses. Something about Roger Daltry makes me, and lots of others, want to punch him in the face over and over and over and over again. He hasn’t aged well, either. Paunchy and wasted looking. He also cannot sing anymore. He should give it up. Pete Townsend, OTOH, remains vital and brilliant.
