Systemically Racist Canada Bad For Immigrant Health Claims Latest Academic Money-Grab Study

Canadian living takes toll on immigrant hearts: Study

A groundbreaking new study has found that recent immigrants have a 30 per cent lower rate of major heart problems, such as heart attacks and strokes, than long-term residents, but that gap shrinks the longer they spend in Canada.

While newcomers are known to have better health than the general population because they must pass rigid health screening, Dr. Jack Tu, lead author of the study, says “part of it can be explained by most immigrant groups having lower rates of smoking and obesity than Canadian-born individuals.”

But after 10 years in Canada, and some of the negative impacts of Western culture, like fast-food and cigarettes, that “healthy immigrant effect” diminishes, the study shows.

There can be only 1 solution ship em all back home! It’s for their health!

Shame on Canada for being a relatively wealthy and affluent society. Quickly – bring in more immigrants from backward muslim-majority countries and lower the standard of living further.

  • Canada and other “advanced” societies all suffer from way much bad nutritional choices in their diets.

In the book The China Study the author breaks disease into two separate groups – diseases of poverty (cleanliness and enough food) and diseases of affluence (too much inappropriate food.)

The affluent societies have obviously dealt with the diseases caused by cleanliness and enough food. But we have unwittingly succumbed to too much, sugar, meat, dairy, and processed food.

And to make matters worse, anyone pointing out this obvious fact becomes a target of the food industry and the junk food junkies. Start shooting at me now.

    • I agree, we do suffer as a result of “affluence”

Governments will impose taxes to steer us away from things considered bad for our health. This has absolutely nothing to do with raising revenue of course.

        • Bad food choices make the overall cost of health care go up.

The overall costs are not trivial. Heart disease costs $500 billion in the US each year. This represents 25% of all health care spending.

95% of heart disease could be eliminated with proper diet.

Government, insurance company or you – someone has to pay.

“I agree, we do suffer as a result of “affluence”

        Resulting in excessive flatulence.

Hence the posterior positioning of a Muslim at prayer presents a serious hazard to society.

I am waiting for someone to explain why they keep wanting to come here considering how terrible we are.

    • Me too.

They’re right Canada is awful. They should leave – fast.

My concern is only for their health and wellbeing.

        • tom_billesley

Letting ’em stay would be a crime against humanity.

Apparently cigarettes and KFC are worse than bullets…who’da thunk it? I smell a lawsuit in the works from the “United Immigrants/Refugees of (name of shithole here)”.

FGM and pre-teen pregnacy are ok though.

Negative impacts of Canadian culture like cigarettes? WTF? According to the WHO, the great majority of the world’s smokers live in Third World dumps, where the rate of tobacco consumption is rising instead of declining like it is in Canada:

See for yourself how many countries out there have much higher smoking rates than Canada (map shows percentage of male tobacco smokers):

How would this dumb ass doctor Jack Tu (a very objective, non biased researcher to be sure) accurately know the rates of heart
Disease and stroke in their home countries?
Many immigrants are from countries where the doctors have bones through their noses.

    • tom_billesley

Many don’t live long enough to develop heart disease or get a stroke if they don’t quit their delightful native lands..

In my university ecomomics department, a colleague has been studying this issue for the past five years — so this posted fellow is not saying anything new. But of course none of this is “racism”. Immigrants eat fast food just like the rest of us, and like us get heavier with age. So all of this is stuff anyone can see happening everywhere.

  • Justin St.Denis

Clearly, Canadian food is racist and making immigrant minorities ill. Good thing this news comes just before the harvest. Now, instead of distributing the food, it can just be turned over to the police and burned for its racism. Non-racist vegetables and fruit as well as other food can all be imported from other countries. Canadian cows and livestock should be slaughtered for racism as well. Maple syrup must be banned completely.

Who knew that systemic racism in Canada extended to the indiginous vegetation! OMG Canada is so evil. As a mercy to incomers, warning signs should be installed in all our airports warning non-citizens about what scum we Canadians are.

I wonder what news tomorrow will bring? 😉
