Minister of National Defense reaffirms “zero tolerance for anti-Semitism”

The Federal Court of Appeals sided with Minister Kenney’s decision to cut funding to the Canadian Arab Federation (“Federation”) over its promotion of “hatred, anti-semitism and support for the banned terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah”.

The decision, in part, stated (July 24, 2015) that that groups which promote hatred, including anti-Semitism, or excuse terrorism and violence, should not receive any official recognition or subsidy from the state.

Hard to slag the conservatives over that.

    • mobuyus

Oh they will, pointing out that such measures target only our peaceful muslim communities.

    • It’s racist!

    • zee

for doing the bidding of their Zionist masters?

  • ntt1

It’s Sad when you feel congratulatory toward the supremes for the rare act of getting it right.not much room for judicial activism here, an outright embrace of anti semitism is, for now, . a step too far

    • But gaining, the Iran deal has opened that door.

      • ntt1

as a rule if they are leftists then they must also be anti semitic it is part of the group think.and a large majority of our judges are leaning that way. as I said the only thing stopping the courts is anticipated outrage from the great unwashed public.

The goal of zero tolerance for anti-Semitism sounds great, which is why one now must ask why are we tolerating the violent and overt anti-Semitism from the majority of Muslims here and why do we continue importing more of the same. The most rabid anti-Semitism is spewed in every Muslim demonstration, in their press in Canada and in just about all their mosques and schools. Will the government finally move to enforce this zero tolerance for anti-Semitism?

    • Immigration has been off the debate list this election.

      • Norman_In_New_York

I think the Trump campaign will raise the immigration issue in Canada by osmosis.

        • ntt1

well if controversy about hair style is an early indicator of that issue’s discussion, we must be in line.

  • Push back against Islamic hatred is long overdue.

  • simus1

Seeing musloonic losers lose is always a good feeling but making sure the new front groups they are bound to set up get zero tax dollars is problematic.
Especially with Shiny Pony and citoyen Tommy Tantrum vote whoring to the max.

    • It will be a nightmare, I fully expect a visit from the thought police should either be elected.

  • ontario john

I’m sure the united church and the Toronto Star will be outraged at this.

  • moraywatson

There goes that disinfecting light of truth again! No islamic organization should receive any amount of government subsidy, of any form. Islam is political – so subsidies for that.

    • Islam is the enemy of our society.

      • WalterBannon

Islam is the enemy of life

  • Cheryl

Why are we giving any funds to any country especially Muslim countries or Africa or India and not taking care of Canadians here in Canada? The saying is, charity begins at home. You only have to look a Haiti and see that most the poor are still living in tents, so where did all the millions and millions of dollars go to help those people? It is right to say that no Islamic organization should receive no money from Canada or anyone else. What the hell is the matter with the Canadian government?

    • WalterBannon

The only thing Islamic organizations should receive is their extermination.

    • ntt1

The Canadian government has “helped” the indians which partly explains their entrapment in third world living conditions., Government “help” is toxic.

      • Alain

The only way to stop it regardless of which party is in power is to scrap the Indian Act. I have to admit that the Liberals actually attempted to do that when Chretien was Minister of Indian Affairs (it was called that at the time) with his White Paper. The professional Indians went on the war path and the government backed down.

” and questioned Justin Trudeau’s position on the Federation, given that one of Trudeau’s close advisors, Omar Algabhra, is a former President. ”

Omar will be in the Trudeau cabinet if the Liberals ever make into power.

” As Trudeau’s Volunteer Engagement Director, Alghabra helped recruit more than 12,000 volunteers across the country to work for Trudeau’s campaign. “I believe that he represents and carries with him the values that are not only in sync with my values, but the fresh energy and new ideas that Canadians are looking for,” Alghabra says. ”

wow that shows islamist hopes for the election. no wonder turdo la doo was hanging around radical mosques.

  • Reader

Don’t worry, Team Trudeau will change all that if they get the chance.

After all Justin hired Omar Alghambra, the former president of the Canadian Arab Federation to be one of his top advisors.

And he has the Obama nomination team helping him out too.
