I only joined Isil because my wedding was called off, admits ex-jihadist

A German former jihadist has testified that he only joined Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isil) because he felt “humiliated” after his wedding was called off.

The 26-year-old, named only as Ebrahim HB under German privacy laws, vowed ahead of his trial that he would reveal Isil’s inner workings in court.

But in his first day of testimony on Monday, he told instead how he had been driven into the extremists’ arms by a personal crisis after his fiancee’s family called off his wedding.

This is not ‘outrageous’ —this is ‘Expected’.
    This is Progressive.

  • Rubbish.

    Feed him to the sharks.

That’s being jilted, not a reason for jihad.

Have to bet the putative father in law is saying “Told ya so”.

The fiance’s family may have called off the wedding when they found out the son in law to be was a pisslamist?
