Credit where credit is due… on the demise of the Canadian Arab Federation

The anti-semitic hate group known as the Canadian Arab Federation (CAF) has lost its appeal to have their federal government funding restored reports the CJN.

This is the end of a long story, it’s a win for the good guys but sadly beyond the CJN report I see no coverage of this victory in the mainstream press.

In 2009 Jason Kenney pulled the plug on funding for the hate group after a mounting public outcry. An outcry spurred in large part by Bloggers starting with this post right here by yours truly.

What is most disturbing to me about this whole affair is that despite CAF’s well known history of hate politicians of all stripes sought their favour.

At the Canadian Arab Federation’s 40th Anniversary bash held in 2007 the likes of John Tory and Jack Layton among others can be seen hobnobbing at the hate group’s hootenanny.

Canada has a sick political culture thanks to multiculturalism and its implicit threat of labeling as racist those who dissent against it’s malignant creed. I know this first hand, and so does anyone else who has spoken out about the hate we have imported with Islam. It remains an ongoing problem as politicians are too cowardly and too willing to vote whore to prevent Islam’s efforts to insinuate itself into the public sphere.

Make no mistake, many hands official and unofficial contributed to CAF’s well deserved demise but without hesitation I will state that Bloggers are owed much for forcing this story into the mainstream media.

Bloggers like Scaramouche, Laura Rosen Cohen, Sassywire, Blogwrath, Eye On A Crazy Planet Lumpy Grumpy & Frumpy and of course the JDL. There are many more and each deserves a pat on the back.

Well done all.

Thank you for doing your part in this.

    • Thank you too!

      Yes, indeed.

      • David Murrell

        I agree.

You deserve a pat on the back and our politicians deserve a kick in the ass, because they still haven’t learned their lesson, namely to never endorse or give a penny of taxpayers money to any Mohammedan who hasn’t been thoroughly vetted beforehand. When we stop seeing spectacles like our Minister of Citizenship & Immigration addressing a gathering of spittle-flecked Khomeinists, that’s when we’ll know the message has really sunk in.

I’m not quite sure what to make of CJN being the only media to cover this story. As usual they are schizophrenic about the whole issue, especially Harper. This story was positioned “below the fold” and got only one comment that was sort of related. Of course, none of the bloggers nor JDL got any credit for their work in bringing this about. It was sort of like CJN taking credit for something they had no part in. Of course this is not surprising given the plagiarizing bent of their editor.

On the other hand, the Harper launch story was positioned “above the fold” and attracted plenty of comments (for the CJN). Have your sick bowl ready — the Harper H8ters were out in full force.

  • Great step! I wonder if they will try to go to the Supreme Court over the funding.

You’re right about multiculturalism – though Kenney pulled the CAF’s plug, he still could be seen at any event that would have him – Jewish, Khomeinist, Ismaili, Chinese, Christian, etc. A few weeks ago at a Chinese restaurant I saw his picture with the owner. Kenney was wearing a ridiculous Chinese-style jacket made from patches with different colours. Last week it was reported that he spotted John Tory at the Caribana and both had a dancing competition (I still can’t find pictures). The problem is that he doesn’t seem to have a definitive political position, but the alternatives like Linda McQuaig and Chrystia Freeland are even worse.

If you ever get discouraged, you can look back upon this victory and dispel those pessimistic thoughts.
    What you do does matter.
    Well done Cat Man!
So much evil, so little time.
