Disquiet about abortion is growing among 18- to 24-year-olds

For me and an increasing number of young people, each abortion is a death

In November 2013, the campaign group Abortion Rights announced their first-ever student conference. It was, they explained, in response to ‘many student unions reporting increased anti-choice activity on campuses’. Societies such as Oxford Students for Life, which I’ve been part of for the last couple of years, don’t tend to think of themselves as ‘anti-choice’, but it’s true there are more of us around. The number of young people who are opposed to abortion, or at least worried about it, is growing — this despite the usual hostility from student unions.

Just look at the results of a ComRes survey conducted in April. Asked whether the abortion limit should be halved to 12 weeks, the most likely age group to agree were, by some distance, the 18- to 24-year-olds: 48 per cent said yes, only 26 per cent no.

This article is from the UK, I wonder what may lay behind it. A sense of civilization’s decline? A sense of impending death by multiculturalism and mass immigration?

All 3 of your above reasons plus the Real reason—-
We are AFRAID of our own Gov’t.
I just wish that I knew what their goal is—–

I think the point made by the author re: technology is the biggest factor. This is the first generation to grow up seeing their own ultrasound(s), and 3D images of younger siblings in the womb. It’s why Planned Parenthood and pro-abortion advocates fight tooth and nail against laws requiring women seeking an abortion to be shown an ultrasound of their baby. When you are confronted with the image of an unborn baby, it’s hard to write it off as a “bunch of tissue.”

I think you hit the nail on the head.

All that I know for sure-is that I ,personally, do not have Right to tell some little girl that she must bear a child because it makes me feel good , makes my God feel good, makes the Gov’t feel good, makes the vocal hypocrites feel good— forget it—-
Do what is best for yourself little girl—- You will know.

No wounder why a new report said that by 2044 the white society will a minority.

    • Cheryl

Yes, the white haters are going to have to switch targets because there won’t be enough white people left alive. A dying race, I guess.

Im not a white hater I can only see how the white society manage their good values to have a family.

Is there anyone that thinks I should apologize or feel guilty because of my skin pigmentation ?

Actually, I am Proud of my lack of skin pigmentation.

If this fact upsets you—-then so-what. Cry me river.

You can be proud of your skin pigmentation. I could care less.

I thinks it’s a good sign that young people are questioning the status quo. Abortion on demand, although making the life of some women less complicated, has for many years contributed to declining birthrates in Western countries.
This issue will be revisited at some point. Hopefully for the better.

We need a large number of youth’s to be pro life to replace the pro abortion old crowd and big Justin Trudeau supporters like Michael Coren. http://www.thestar.com/opinion/commentary/2015/08/03/anti-abortion-campaign-sets-a-new-low-in-politics.html
