Panic in Pittsburgh: Media Struggling to Ignore Black Mob Violence

Black people in Pittsburgh were feeling poorly about crime: Too many of them were in the news accused of killing, robbing, assaulting, jacking, shooting, stealing, rioting, breaking, burgling, harassing, intimidating, threatening, fighting, throwing, running, stoning, smoking, drinking, escaping, drugging, firing, and destroying.

So in 2011, black leaders got together to do something about it: Not stop the crime. Just stop reporters from letting us know about it.

I grew up north of Pittsburgh, and went to university for four years near the downtown area, way back when in the 1960s. Back then, Pittsburgh was known for not having much in the way of crime and violence. It was a sort of nothing-really-happens-here type of town. Not so in the last few decades. This is tough on the churches, which really need to do community-level work (fairs, free dinners, barbeques — that sort of thing.

That seems like a great book “Do Not Make Black Kids Angry”.

My fantasy primate experiment was to train about 50 monkeys or chimpanzees to use AKs, then air drop them into Boko Harem controlled areas.
The monkeys would be attracted to the sounds of AK fire and and start grabbing their weapons and fireing wildly in all directions, hopefully taking a few Boko types down.
Maybe tattoo Stars of David onto the primate’s chests too, just to make the a Boko Harem guys think that the Jews now controlled all monkeys.

There wasn’t enough diversity in the food truck offerings, making them feel excluded. It’s a micro-aggression.

  • The bums form BlackLivesMatter did something like that (though not physically violent) the other day in Toronto, blocking a highway. Other than the breaking news site coverage, that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the mainstream media.

Former New York City mayors Giuliani and Bloomberg deeply believed that black lives matter, which is why they instituted “broken windows policing” and stop-and-frisk against gangstas in the hood, which may have saved a few thousand black lives.
