Glassy-eyed, tongues lolling and flat on their backs
..the last time I fed Katrina some fresh-grown Catnip…
up seems about right. I try and keep catnip out of the house with my herd.
“Listen cat, listen, listen, this ‘nip is awe. .., awe…some. What can I say, cat. I mean …. You know what I mean, right, cat? Cat, we need to to to find out where this ‘nip is is is being dealt, you know? Cat, listen cat, liiisssttennn …………….”
Australian cats don’t react to catnip. That doesn’t stop pet stores advertising “… with catnip!” on toys etc.
Pip does not react to catnip either. He’s a real Straightedge.
A friend of mine has a cat who doesn’t care about “the nip” either.
Many cats react in a similar manner if presented with a green Queen Olive. They roll it around, wrestle it, chew it, chase it, hug it, sleep on it etc. very strange…..
Maybe that’s why Pip likes pizza olives;)
dorothy likes a peeled lychee, sucks the meat off then plays cat hockey with the pip. might try her on olives, it would be nice not to find a dead pip when l roll out of bed
My cat’s a Siamese. He’s a complete idiot and without the cat drugs. Seriously. He’s sweet as hell but bloody demanding. I think he’s a feminist. It’s all me, me, me me. Pay attention to me. Loves drama. God. It’s like being married again.
I had a Siamese once. It came as stray. I kept it for a year or 2. It was declawed. I can still remember it padding at the patio door for hours on end. When I finally brought the damned thing into the house it would YOWL -not miew -YOWL for hours on end. And it was also ugly and I never did like the looks of the damned thing. A very tiny .22 caliber bullet put an abrupt end to this so-called cat. I didn’t even bury it— I just tossed in a bunch of weeds and left it up to God to dispose of the God damned thing.
They’re getting high on the ‘nip while the world is going to hell!
poor old grace ,she fed her head a few times too many. nice looker back in the day though.
No, she has not aged well.
Are we sure they’re not just high on life?
Are we sure they’re not just high on ham?
My cats have all really liked catnip but I gave it only occasionally, except one summer when I grew it in a pot. They loved that.
