YouTube vlogger admits he is lucky to be alive after jumping off Tower Bridge for a dare

  • Icebow

    That stunt was really cupid.

  • Dana Garcia

Another product of diverse cousin marriage. He didn’t even have to get drunk.

    • That was a dumb move.

      • Zaba

for him, it coulda been smart

  • David Murrell

There is a controversy amongst public finance economists, and others, about whether or not there should be a penalty fee — in a country with socialized medicine — charged for a fool like this who, after surviving a stunt, incurs hospital costs, and lifesaving costs. Medical care normally is free, but should it be free for someone like this?

Rescue teams grumble, having to rescue brain-dead snowboarders who snowboard close to avalanche country. Big debate here.

    • Surele Surele

He should pay for his rescue.

    • Consider the risk to the rescuers.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

      I don’t think it’s controversial at all.
If you engage in any activity where there is a risk of injury then you should have to either pay a pooled insurance fee or the total costs for your rescue and recovery.
As a recently quit smoker and still swiller of beer I’ve paid for my health care through sin taxes.
The kick boxer who sustains two rotator cuff injuries that require multiple surgeries presently incurs no additional cost for his impositions on the health care system.

    • Zaba

I’ve been seeing more in the news that the charges are being laid.

  • Okay- what happened to that switch in one’s brain that says jumping off of bridges is a really bloody stupid thing to do?

    • Drunk_by_Noon

Well, obviously you have never been inside the head of your average 16-25 year-old male.
Actually, the Tower Bridge isn’t THAT high.
If offered a bunch of money, or even a few thousand, I’d jump off of it today, even after watching that video.
Essentially, “he did it wrong” but I would do better.
That last sentence is an excellent illustration of what makes some of us Males shockingly unable to learn from the mistakes and misfortunes of others.

      • Blacksmith

He kinda effed up the feet first thing, I think he got at least two rotations and landed on his face.

      • He was carried away by a tide. He might even have struck his head against something.

I just don’t think some stunts are worth it.

    • His was obviously defective.

    • Zaba

As a result of 14 centuries of islamic inbreeding,
      those switches can become numbed.

  • Blacksmith

Darwin needs some range time, his aim SUCKS!

  • Zaba

He does not qualiffy for a Darwin Award.
    What are they?

The Darwin Awards commemorate individuals who protect our gene pool by making the ultimate sacrifice of their own lives: by eliminating themselves in an extraordinarily idiotic manner, thereby improving our species’ chance of long-term survival. In other words, they are cautionary tales about people who kill themselves in really stupid ways, and in doing so, significantly improve the gene pool by eliminating themselves from the human race.

Out of the gene pool: dead or sterile.
    Astounding misapplication of judgment.
    Cause one’s own demise.
    Capable of sound judgment.
    The event must be true.

    • dance…dancetotheradio

If I make it to ninety years old then I might go sky diving or ballooning.
Meantime, I have already had a couple of kids.
And I’m not past starting that again.
      Keyser Soze.

      • Zaba

so you’re thinking of late life eligibility……

  • Shebel
