More than 4 million Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries, UN says

The number of Syrian refugees in neighbouring countries has passed 4 million, the UN refugee agency UNHCR said on Thursday, adding that the total was on course to reach 4.27 million by the end of 2015.

“This is the biggest refugee population from a single conflict in a generation. It is a population that needs the support of the world but is instead living in dire conditions and sinking deeper into poverty,” UN high commissioner for refugees António Guterres said in a statement.

Not our fight. Welcome the Christians, leave the rest.

Another reason I’m opposed to getting involved in these conflicts. You’re suddenly complicit in the manufacture of refugees and become obligated to take them in. Forever.

BTW interesting article on Canada and refugees. I hadn’t heard of this before.

Never forget the Powell Principle: You break it, you own it.

Cry me a River. Canada doesn’t Want you or Need you.

We are pretty fed up with Muslim demands.

As far as I am concerned Hotel Canada should remain closed. Nor do I buy the “Christian” bit. It is far too easy to fake, and based on personal experience even most Arab Christians are far too seeped in the general Arab culture of anti-Semitism, and anti-women to be acceptable.
