“Why do we celebrate the Fourth of July?”

  • Yikes!

    • Justin St.Denis

Relax. Our Canadian compatriots do not know Canadian history any better than these Americans know their own.

      • I agree, but why would that be a cause to relax?

        • Justin St.Denis

Point taken. But I am personally rather tired of feeling all riled up all the time because the world is going to hell in a hand basket. I am trying to retire. I’ve given up caring what anybody else thinks about me. That was a huge step forward. Slowly, I am learning to relax myself. Just trying to spread the joy…

these kind of interviews are getting really old pull the same thing in Canada and you would find the exact same level of apparent stupidity, it is turdo la doos constituents at least we aren’t being subjected to the CBC’s in house comic and certified capon rick mercer.pulling off this idiocy.

    • Oh, I know Canada would be as bad. This isn’t “heh, Americans are so dumb” like that smug Rick Mercer thing. The point is that, to quote Jerry Seinfeld, we’re trying to have a civilization here, and I’m pretty sure we don’t have the human capital.

You think most of these people don’t vote Democrat?

      • ntt1

Probably all of them, if they don’t know about independance day then they will never get it that the democrats were the party of racial separation and violence.

        • I keep saying that voting should be strongly discouraged.

          • ntt1

Yes but how? there are huge swathes of voters who really don’t have a clue and yes they will vote for the dauphin because he’s cute. How can you establish a threshold of sanity/probity that allows for informed votes?

    • Sure but they’re still funny;)

      • ntt1

at one time i thought so too, but i find them increasingly boring yes people are stupid but enough aren’t that somehow our civilization staggers on.I would like to see the out takes of all the people who got it right.

Jason Agnew of the Rebel.media does the same kinds of surveys and he keeps score. The amazing lack of knowledge suggests that the numbers of correct answers would be appallingly low, often in the 20 percent range. We are certainly less informed (that would be ignorant) than our previous generations, at our peril.

        Jay did it best.

I’m sure they all know how to put a condom on a banana though.

This Canadian was able to answer all the questions:

I find it neither funny nor sad, but it makes me very angry to see the results of so many generations who were cheated out of an education. Instead of education they have been exposed to and indoctrinated with cultural marxism for the past 50 years plus, which amounts to a crime in my view. Every country in the West has gone through the same, and you will find as a result the same dumbing down of the later generations as we see here.

    How to conquer a people

Step one: ensure that they are ignorant of their own history.
