Tunisia’s new beach guards fail to turn up for work

Hundreds of extra police sent by Tunisian law enforcement agencies to protect tourist beaches failed to show up, leading to embarrassing exchanges when the interior minister made a tour of inspection.

“We had agreed to protect the beaches. Where are the agents tasked with security on the beaches?” the minister, Najem Gharsalli, was heard saying to a security official during an inspection of Hammamet, Tunisia’s best-known resort.

“Where are they? Are they having a coffee?”

Not exactly comforting…

Tunisian politician’s stark warning: ‘We’re the last wall between Isis and Europe, so leave us to fight them alone at your peril’

  • I would suggest it was because they are cowards.

I would suggest it was also because Mohammedans are reluctant to die for the sake of protecting infidel tourists.

I suggest both Osumashi and you are correct, since it is a combination of both.

      • That is also true.

I submit that honour and self-interest as the West knows those concepts are dissimilar in the Islamist world. Refusing to protect others or fight against a similar enemy and running away from that enemy is acceptable and not seen as cowardice or suicidal. Killing one’s daughter over a perceived slight is mandatory in keeping up with the Joneses who may point that out during Ramadan, something that could prove awkward..

I would suggest it is because all koranimals want all kaffir dead.

With Jihad ideology stirred up in these last few years, booking a vacation in a place like Tunisia or Morocco is a bad idea…

One could say it is a death wish.

Who would want to be guarded by armed puslums? It’s like a mouse being guarded by a mousetrap.
