Al-Qaeda militants among hundreds of prisoners who escaped from Yemen jail

More than 1,200 prisoners escaped from a jail in the Yemeni city of Taiz on Tuesday night, including a number of al-Qaeda militants.

The incident was the largest of a series of prison breaks that have taken place throughout Yemen’s three-month long war, underscoring the depth of the country’s security collapse.

A security official told state news agency Saba that the incident occurred when guards deserted their posts after being caught in the crossfire between Houthi rebel forces and local opponents.

Alcatraz , maybe 3 escaped. Dannemora, two escaped, finis. Yemen, 1200 escape, soon to turn up in YOUR COUNTRY, YOUR TOWN as a very nice quiet boy, whose neighbours really like him. Are we all TRUE CITIZENS of the FREE WORLD sick to death of being played like CHUMPS, {big word in WW2} I sure am. If one Canadian party broke out and criticized immigration, they would win. Real Canadians have more votes than ones that have no idea and will vote for who brought them in. I have no wish to relive the Liberal years of French Prime Ministers and the immigrant voters who put them there.
