Islam in the spotlight

We assume British Muslims support British values. Do they?

Let’s put the question very bluntly: do British Muslims affirm British values, or are they outsiders to our way of life? Or, even more bluntly: can we trust them? It is important that we learn to answer this question with nuance, and not in a self-righteous and simplistic way.

they answered that question last year on a poll of muslim desires for Britain. 74% of British muslims want shariah law, therefore they are against all tenets of western civilization.

    • Exactly.

    • Exile1981

and 40% openly admitted to being willing to use violence to bring about sharia in the UK or 25% in the US.

    • AmicusC

and that’s why they should be shipped back to the sh!t holes they came from.

      • Right, there is a reason its a sh!t hole. They and their Sharia law are the reason. They escape to western countries and proceed to do everything they can to turn whatever country that takes them in into a sh!t hole.

British Muslims do Not affirm British values.
They Are outsiders to our way of life.
    We Cannot trust them.

  • canminuteman

If they supported British values, they wouldn’t be muslims.

  • Clausewitz

Hahahahaha, this is a setup for a joke right? What, No? Damn.

    • El Martyachi

… buggery. The stuff just writes itself.

      • Clausewitz

Want to hear the joke that starts, “Two Muslim’s walk into a bar….”.

    Like fish wank, unless deluded.

The only way the Spectator can really say what they mean is by raising the question and not answering it.
‘We assume British Muslims support British values. Do they?’
    Means they don’t.
But, you can’t say that in England or the cops will shut you down.

The tactic of taqiyya ensures that us lowly kuffars can never, ever trust them on anything; the willful blindness of our blinkered self-liquidating pseudo-elites is a most valid ground for a coup d’etat in order to stop all Mohammedan immigration at once and to then proceed to root them out of the security apparatus followed by a swift deportation!

A while back . I was speaking to a man with a very familiar accent. I asked him where he was from? He was quite indignant. He huffed up his chest and said ” I am from Scotland” . I said nothing except that I thought that I recognized the accent.
He was Black as the Ace of Spades.

I guess that I now qualify to call myself Native Canadian .

coming from Vancouver as I do, I could never get my head around a Chinese girl talking with a thick Scottish brogue, i thought at first she was putting me on.then she pointed out that I was the one with the accent.

On the off chance that the trust is misplaced…then what?

The “then what” question is the one which the political class will do anything to avoid answering. After all, things like loyalty oaths, deportation, round ups and, in time, what, the prohibition of a particular religion. “Then What” is a question which the UK, Sweden, France and the rest of the EU are pretending they do not have to face. The longer they dodge the question the more unpleasant the answers are going to be.

    • Shebel

Do you really think that any Politician will answer your “then what” question ?
I will answer for them. They can’t–because they are Politicians. Their job is to extract votes from the people. They all do a good job.

If you really want to nail them– Why not ask –“Why then” ?
      – Did you spend over $ 1,000,000,000 on a new home for CSEC ?
-Why is CSIS getting more money all the time.

Do you really think that our Military is not in tune with the Intelligence Agencies ?

Everybody knows. Nobody knows when to admit it.

  • Blacksmith

If you have to ask the question you have not been paying attention.

  • Alain

I feel obligated to make a correction. The correct terminology is Muslims in Britain instead of British Muslims. Now I do feel better.
