Because nothing says Ramadan like “Pigs In A Blanket”

Ha!                                                                                                                           h/t TROP

Morrisons Ramadan Pigs In A Blanket

Maybe it was done as a *courtesy* to muslims, has anyone thought of that? There they are, literally starving, surrounded by untouchable food items, having trouble maintaining their pious fasting when – bam! They encounter disgusting pork! The shock and horror of seeing this unholy meat instantly removes their craving for food and they can go on with their day.

When I was young I was taught to eat that which was put before me.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

I was taught to eat what I took and to take what I’ll eat.
Had a few arguments with my own kids about that.
They’ve never had to hear my mother say ‘fill up on bread’ after all the good stuff is gone.

    • Yea, it was done out of empathy. Man those Muslims are ungrateful.

No riots in UK over this effrontery??
What’s wrong with the great mohammedan spirit of destruction??

could be tofu based halal mock pork

    • Blacksmith

Tofu can be halal? how do they slaughter it? There has to be a hideous slaughter for it to be halal right? /sarc off.

      • ntt1

Good point . Would muslims eat it without an agonizing death? how indeed could you kill bean curd in a barbaric fashion? if there was a way I’m sure they would have found it.

It’s pretty pathetic that the 1.5 billion follower of islam keep trying to sell it as the Religion Of Peace and yet in Practise the fear of jihad terrorism and mass-slaughters by the followers has force Companies into this new Charade to embrace islam and spew the BIG LIE that islam=Peace .

Nothing says Ramadan like a nice mass slaughter for allah.

Would a srore offering a discount on bacon during Ramadan be insensitive?

    • ntt1

I tried a maple /bacon beer last year. now I’m a staunch supporter of bacon and I support exploring this wondrous staple in any and all ways ,but it was really bad. I am now extremely reluctant to try way out adaptions of bacon as I worry it will weaken the deep relationship I enjoy both Whisky and bacon but believe some things just shouldn’t be combined like motor-cross and sex.

  • AlanUK

I suppose there is no chance that the Ramadan sign was planted (or photoshopped?

    • ntt1

it could well have been re established from another section just like the monsters who pack the halal chicken section with indifferent quality bacon.
