Druze lynch mob beat injured Syrian to death in Golan Heights

A 150-strong mob of Druze residents in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights battered a Syrian war-injured man to death late on Monday night, in an incident that has been widely condemned by community leaders and Israel’s prime minister.

A military ambulance transporting two injured Syrians from the border to the hospital came under attack in the town of Majdal Shams on the Israel-Syria border.

“Impassioned youngsters began to chase the ambulance and overpowered it”, a resident of Majdal Shams told Israel’s Walla News, declining to give his name. The “young men [then] pulled the injured Syrians out of the ambulance and beat them mercilessly”.

Good job! Congras to those Druze youths!

And tomorrow it will be their turn.

That’s the problem with savagery unconstrained… it’s never ending and it’s to our collective shame that we’re so depleted of cultural confidence that we can’t say “you’re a savage.”

The Druze know and understand the enemy, but for some unknown and strange reason Israel refuses to learn. Saving your enemy’s life in order that he has more chances to kill you is insane. I am with the Druze on this one.

    • We are going to have to re-learn that winning a war means killing the enemy on a mass scale, there is no other way around it.

      • Alain

Indeed and all this conpassion for the cruel (the enemy) needs to stop.

That’s not how smart power operates. The enemy is to be won over with smokin humanitarian initiatives live rounds of Kumbaya and a full frontal hug fest.

The Druze are very loyal to the states in which they live; Lebanese Druze to Lebanon, Syrian Druze to Syria and Israeli Druze to Israel and the Druze in Arab countries are very anti-Israel. I am appalled at what they did to the wounded Syrians. We don’t even know who they are. If Israel has decided that their lives were worth saving, then these Druze who have the privilege of living in the Israeli Golan should have let the ambulance through! Don’t know how Israel will death with this new challenge to them, G-d bless them.

Sometimes Israel’s PR obsessions piss me off. Those Druze youth seem to “get” something that the political elites do not “get” at all. I’m with the Druze on this one. Good job, chaps!

So, let me get this straight. The Israelis send an ambulance into Syria to help some Muzzie terrorist and the Druse pull him out of the ambulance and beat him to death and the Israelis are war criminals, ok.

Not enough drinks in the world to make that make sense.

But, we can try to find enough drinks.

I don’t care who you are, you don’t deserve to be pulled out of an ambulance, when you’re already wounded, and beaten to death. The article doesn’t even say they’re soldiers — just wounded Syrians. Do the Druze try to kill every Syrian they see?

    • Justin St.Denis

      Under the circumstances, probably yes.

    • Justin

I am sure they were either “alnusra” or “isis” jihadist thugs, they are the only ones who operate in that area and they hugely deserve what happened to them.

IN the article they wrote that there was an interview with the wounded Syrians and one of them said that when he will go back to Syria he will kill a Druze.

The article did not say who where the wounded Syrians and why Israeli saved their life. Therefore it is difficult to judge if the Druze where right or not. Although I think that Druze were right to be angry.
