Aussie PM Tony Abbott To Deport Convicted Terrorists AND Their Families

Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott doesn’t just talk tough on terrorism – he acts on it. On Wednesday his conservative coalition government will introduce new legislation stripping dual nationals of their Australian citizenship if they are involved in terrorism.

We so need this in Canada as well. I think the second you go to join Isis or any of the Syrian groups you should loose your citizenship.

too foggy to believe it will make anyone safer and next to no one will be deported. If he really wanted to halt sharia law he would begin by banning the guidebook

One of the big complaints of illegals generally is that the government splits up families, when actually the fault lies with the lawbreakers themselves.

Australia is removing this complaint. Plus it demonstrates Oz family values.

Well, at least it’s a start. More than any other Western “leader” has even advocated, let alone done. But it hasn’t happened yet, so lets wait and see.

And their families? This guy is amazing.

  • MannieP

Good on him. We don’t want them.

Maybe Canada can work out a trade with Australia: Harper for Abbott and they can even have a first round pick to sweeten the deal.

  • What a guy. Stephen Harper, please please do the same for Canada.

Now if only Israel would do the same, and deport them to Antarctica.

      Israel should take no prisoners.

I think deportation to a conveniently located space station at the fringes of the Galaxy would be ideal.

Why spoil Antarctica? What did penguins ever do to deserve that?

Offer a new food source to the leopard seals.

Leaving the poor dears without a supportive family would be cruel.

  • It’s controversial but smart. Even if the offending jihadists were deported, if their families remained they would suck the Australian taxpayer dry and send funds overseas.

    The buck stops there.
