It’s a prickly issue, since many Muslims will be most unhappy at visual representations of the Prophet no matter how favorable the portrait might be.

    • Alain

Sorry but no need to capitalise the Muslim prophet. Only Muslims claim this individual, if he actually existed, was a prophet.

  • Ben Affleck has proven himself an intellectual buffoon.

    Can he redeem himself?

The epitome of an Hollywood lite weight.

Can he ACT is the question. Answer is not all that well.

  • Martin B

Asking Ben Affleck to think is asking way too much.

  • pdxnag

He could indulge in any head chopping and rape fantasies he may have, including of children. Heck, why pretend when you can just join ISIS and do it all for real, like the “perfect” example?

  • Short answer: no.

Ben Affleck? I love Ayaan but… huh? That guy’s a wimp! Sean Connery’s too old. Kingsley? Too old. Lena Olin could do the intensity but would have to be a transgender version of Mo. I can’t see anyone good enough today. Brando is dead. Laura Dern and Olin are the wrong sex. Maybe Denzel Washington or Sam Jackson in whiteface? Liev Schreiber would make ’em go crazy (being Israeli born). OK. Viggo Mortensen or Joaquin Phoenix. Maybe. At least they have some gravitas. The Australian guy. He did that monstrosity, Noah. He can act. But NOT Affleck.

I’d just be offended that Ben Affleck was playing anything I considered important.
‘-Aaand introducing Ben Affleck as Nikola Tesla.’
That would really piss me off.

      • Abu Nudnik

He could play a callow actor like Sutherland played a narcissistic director in Alex In Wonderland. That would work!

      • Abu Nudnik

Affleck as Tesla would make me laugh.
