Pope Francis’ encyclical on climate change is LEAKED four days early by Italian magazine

According to people familiar with the encyclical, the Pope urges all people to be stewards of creation and he addresses the human causes of climate change.

By making environmental protection a moral imperative, his intervention could spur the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics to lobby policymakers on ecology issues.

I have no argument with reminding people they are to be stewards of creation, but for the rest he is talking marxist bull shit instead of Catholic teachings.

Right before the end, isn’t there supposed to be a false pope? Too refreshed to gooogle.

    • Exile1981

read the snowden crap that shows how much the US influenced the selection of this pope

We’re in the season of End Times. It’s out of our hands now. Just have faith, and the future will sort itself out.

        • Not trying to be difficult, I’m just curious, as an agnostical type: haven’t we been in the End Times for about 2,000 years? There have always been wars, and rumours of wars. Why should now be so different?

          I’m holding out for SMOD.

          • Uncle_Waspy

You are being difficult, Mamba….but that’s part of your charm!

It’s just a feeling. Things are accelerating at an incredible pace.

Israel as a country = check.
Explosion of knowledge (interwebs) = check.
500,000,000 army from the East = check
Fire from the sky = check
            Mark of the Beast…..it’s coming.

Just waiting for either Obama or Hillary to reveal themselves as the 2nd Coming.

          • I don’t believe Obama is the Devil. The Devil would be more competent and have a hotter wife. (I stole that from people joking about this, if you remember:

All the acronyms I find for SMOD mean either “smile and nod”, the name of a Malasian Boy band, or “s*ck my own d*ck”, then I also found some disturbing stuff.

          • Smoking Meteor Of Doom. The Mayans let me down badly but I hold out hope. It beats having realistic long term plans.

            Got it!

It was supposed to be 9/24/15 but that’s been called off so we’re waiting for the next chance.

            Alternate: Sweet Meteor of Death.

          • As long as it gets the job done.

          • You are correct. I await her eagerly.

  • It seems to this sympathetic outsider that he is sailing close some very nasty rocks here. Renewable energy and recycling are progressive stuff and compatible enough with doctrine. It is easy enough for a Pope to advocate them; but pretty soon doesn’t the question of “population control” come up? How does he steer through that shoal?

  • Drunk_by_Noon

He really could be the last Pope, or the second to last.

  • Dana Garcia

Wait, isn’t that the religion that’s against birth control? Oh well, what’s a few billion extra humans chomping down resources.

  • Xavier

The real ‘ecology’ issue is overpopulation in the Morocco-Pakistan Terror Belt. Wonder if he’s going to address that little problem?

  • irishrus

Can’t take the socialist out of a South American. Cardinals picked the wrong continent.. second pick was probably Cuba. Now know the Holy Ghost gave up on the Cardinals

  • FactsWillOut

He put out encyclicals calling for redistribution of wealth by the state, calling for dialogue with Islam, saying there is no violence in the Koranus, etc.
The guy is a muzzie loving commie anti-pope.

  • Nan

The Pope is infallible only when speaking Ex Cathedra on Catholic doctrine. Note that the most recent time was 1950, when Pius XII spoke on the Assumption of Mary. This encyclical is what he thinks on the environment but is not binding on anyone. I haven’t read it yet but I wouldn’t trust what the media says; they mis-translate and spin to their liking.

    • FactsWillOut

I’ve read the encyclicals at the Vatican website. He’s a muzzie loving commie.
