What if Most Democrats Don’t Want Hillary?

Hillary may be the favorite to win the Democrat nomination in 2016, but polling data in the last couple of years show that, even against an essentially empty field for the Democrat nomination, her support is eroding. The recent Wisconsin straw poll had Bernie Sanders, an old and out-of-touch socialist, with the support of 41% of Democrats, while Hillary had 49% support from Democrats.

How can this data be interpreted except that many Democrats want anybody but Hillary as the nominee? Everyone knows Hillary and has already formed a definite opinion of her. Her inability in that straw poll in a swing state tilting blue to even gain half of the Democrats in the poll says volumes about her appeal even to members of her own party.

What if most Republicans don’t want Jorge Jeb?

    • Brian Gardiner

Exactly what I was thinking. It’ll be Hillary v. Jeb in 2016, they’ll get miserable turnout because nobody wants either candidate, then they’ll be blabbing about mandatory voting for the next four years.

The professional left, has dragged the Democrat Party so far to the left that they are now ruled by their own lunatic fringe.
Bernie Sanders makes that nutcase Ron Paul look like Winston Churchill.
    This is getting interesting.

An old white lady cannot get blacks and the young voters to turn out for her. Simple as that. I hope she wins her party’s nomination.

Clinton scandals so deep, widespread, like holding a beach ball underwater.
partisan media cannot contain it for election.

Speaking of old bikes/bikers, old/used leatherwear can only be refurbished a few times. After that, you have to bite the biscuit, toss the garment out, and buy new.

It will be the lowest voter turnout in American history. Hillary will win with maybe 12% of the electorate. She will call it a hyper uber divine celestial mandate from American Lesbian Allah herself. And she will rule like a god.

If James Webb can make it to the Democratic Party debates, he’ll make Hillary look as incompetent as she is. Right now, he’s “testing the waters”. Webb has incredible creds, and he’s more right-wing on some issues than the Repubs. . .

The problem with the Democrats is they view elections as a chance to tick a box off on their list of historical firsts.
You can’t just have an election for the most competent candidate.
You have to make it an affirmative action contest.
Hopefully, the other Americans are getting tired of it.

Of course, the media are already crowning Hillary as the next (inevitable) president. But they have been so wrong in their recent prognostications (Bibi, Cameron), that if I were a Democratic Party boss, I would be very nervous.

  • I imagine that Obama’s supporters thought that anyone who is put in the WH is sure to succeed. But they have been proved wrong, oh so wrong. His incompetence is so great he has destroyed America,, American power, and indeed world peace in a mere 6.5 years. Now imagine Hillary Clinton as his successor – imagine the US and the world with her in the WH. End of the world.
