Indonesia’s Aceh province bans women from nightspots after 11pm

The capital of Indonesia’s Aceh province has imposed a partial curfew for women that it says will reduce sexual violence but which critics say is discriminatory.

Internet cafes, tourist sites, sports facilities and entertainment venues have been instructed to refuse service to women after 11pm unless they are accompanied by a husband or male family member.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to lock up the potential rapists? Silly me for asking.

    Locking up rapists is un-Islamic.
Locking up women is just hunky dory.

    • Seems to be the intent.

Isn’t this a license to rape after 11PM? At least for Muslim rape of non-Muslims, of those women unaccompanied by male relatives as per Sharia hell laws. Islam is driven along by the street thugs acting as judge jury and executioner, so to speak. This is religiously sanctioned rape jihad, where the targets are identified.

I could call it an Islamic equivalent of a time place and manner law in the US for first amendment activity. Rape before 11 is not so good, but after 11 all is good, against identifiable infidels.
