David Suzuki wants his opponents jailed (again) — but that’s not the scariest part

David Suzuki is at it again: Calling for “climate change deniers” and other people who disagree with him — including Prime Minister Stephen Harper — to be jailed.

Suzuki is a Leftist, and like most, if not all modern Leftists, he’s a bit low in the wattage department. ….which brings me to my slightly off topic comment about another Leftist, a Princeton “professor,” or so they say. Here she is in all her indignant brilliance, so don’t forget to wear your sun glasses.

After I was done laughing, I thought, “she’s not the brightest bulb in the pack.” And then it dawned on me, “you know, for Leftists, that’s about as bright as it gets.”

      Just a,

That was a good one. Here is an example of real leftest thinking:

        Actually, Hans Reichenbach
wrote that it was a matter of convention, as did Einstein.

        See here…

        The Einstein quote is…

“Einstein himself also says: “The struggle, so violent in the early days of science, between the views of Ptolemy and Copernicus would then be quite meaningless. Either coordinate system (AR: reference frame) could be used with equal justification. The two sentences, ‘the sun is at rest and the earth moves,’ or ‘the sun moves and the earth is at rest,’ would simply mean two different conventions concerning two different coordinate systems.”

The Reichenbach quote is right below that.

And they are not alone. It’s disturbing that information isn’t more widely distributed among academics.

Of course, that notwithstanding, Muslim ideologues are still idiots, and full of you know what. 🙂

The Sun and the Earth rotate about a common center of gravity, which happens to be inside the Sun.

It seems once again, that science is beyond you.
You could create a coordinate system in which both bodies are at rest, too, if you were so inclined, but that, like Einstein’s statement, means very little.
Geocentric models are useless. Heliocentric models are not.

          • just a thought

Yeah, like it was beyond Einstein and Reichenbach. Read the links I gave, one from Stanford about Reichenbach, and the other from NYU, and then crawl back into your hole until winter is over, about another century of two in your case.

          • FactsWillOut

Get back to me when you know what a tensor is.

          • just a thought

For those of you who can actually think, unlike OutWithTheFacts, here’s a link from Princeton U. Press that gives context to the Einstein quote.

And see #42 on this page of in this “Cambridge Companion To Newton”

Of course the Copernican view is simpler in non-relativistic space-time, but that doesn’t make it any more “true” in the absolute sense than the Ptolemaic, just more practical when sending men to the moon.

          • FactsWillOut

Yes, and the Earth is flat, to boot.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

You guys should continue arguing about this.
            It’s fun to watch.

          • Minicapt

            Finally a cogent admission.

          • Everyone Else

and if it’s no flat – as you claim (wink, wink) how come the best frickin level in all of canadian tire says it is level

yeah well if I could bounce in a trampoline high enough then I’d come down in china if the earth was really spinning

everyone knows if you go up in an elevator no matter how high, you come back down in the same place

so then how can the earth really be spinning einstein

Suzuki, like most well-to-do alarmists is wrong about climate change and his stance on social issues is retarded. Recently there have been attempts to redefine the obvious pause in the warming trend and it has made people like Suzuki look live the profiteering scum the really are. This is instructional:

  • Ron MacDonald

Should these arseholes ever get in charge they send all dissenters to re-education camps.

    • Alain

Or straight to prison or even execution. That has always been the way of the Left,

      • Clausewitz

Soylent Green is people, or in this case global warming realists.

  • ntt1

we should celebrate Back-to-the-Cave-Dave. . he has done more to harm the hoaxers than any organized campaign could hope to, He bleats about rising sea levels that are not happening and tellingly owns several high priced chunks of gulf island sea shore. he will “pack 8 people into a 40 foot diesel bus and motor in to lecture you on fossil fuel use. While the bus idles to keep the aircon going. He is over exposed ,hypocritical and just plain wrong

    Now here’s a message I think you’ll really enjoy.

  • Exile1981

The least educated think they are smart and want to make everyone else believe in the same fairy tale they believe in.

  • Exile1981

Suzuki could be a muslim; they both call out for the non-believers and enemies of their religion.

  • Allan

Suzuki. A leach and parasite. Knows nothing about climate change. As long as he is getting his slice of the “climate change” pie, he’s happy.
