The United States of Diversity

The received wisdom about multicultural America goes something like this: “At the time of the Founding, America’s free population was not only white but almost entirely British, and the nation’s culture was based on their common heritage. That monocultural domination continued through the 19th and 20th centuries as other white European immigrant groups were assimilated into the Anglo mainstream. In the 21st century, with people of color soon to become a majority of the population, the United States faces unprecedented cultural diversity.”

“The United States faces unprecedented cultural diversity.”

Strange coincidence, the United States also simultaneously faces unprecedented social unrest and its decline as a culture.

The author makes no judgments, but things seem to be getting worse. The signs don’t look good.

Yes indeed. At present it is all the chaos caused by black savages, but it will really heat up when it comes to all the hispanics battling the blacks.

And the United States will go down the toilette (and the rest of the “diverse”, “multicultural”, western world) because contrary to some peoples thinking diversity is not now, never has been and never will be a strength.

All manner of cultures and peoples poured into what became the United States, but one detail is usually omitted from discussion and popular “histories”: most of them died within a few years of arrival. It was not until the medical and sanitation advances of the 20th Century that people no longer died off in large groups (the Spanish Flu was the last major pandemic). There are cases of new immigrants in the 1890s who were all dead within 6 months of arrival in the slums of New York City; infant mortality was, of course, a major problem. At the moment, children here do not generally die when still very young, which is causing a demographic “bulge” among cultures which breed freely and where family structure has collapsed, leading, among other things, to the horrors on the nightly news.
