Officer shot and killed in west Edmonton

‘I am extremely saddened to have to announce the death of one of our officers and the serious injury to another officer this evening.

‘On behalf of the entire EPS family, our condolences go out to their families, during this tragic time.’
Constable Woodall, 35, was recruited from Greater Manchester Police Force a decade ago to serve with Edmonton Police Service’s Hate Crimes Unit.

The father-of-two had been attempting to arrest a suspect for criminal harassment connected to a hate crime when he was shot multiple times.
Officers were said to have been in tears after the news was announced.

Constable Woodall is the first Edmonton officer to be killed on the job in 25 years.

From the SDA source, “Knecht said the officers had been delivering an arrest warrant for criminal harassment when they came under gunfire.”

So the constable was attached to the hate crimes unit but was backup on a regular call for this.

According to CBC Edmonton mayor is blaming it on the loss of the gun registry.

Well the fucktard at the CBC would do this. Never let facts get in the way of an agenda.

hate crime must mean muslim crime

  • Rosenmops

So far it seems that the shooter was some sort of lunatic. He was bullying a family online.

“The online hatred and bullying of an Edmonton family had become extreme and the family members were increasingly worried about their personal safety,”

  • Gary

    The vague report mean Muslim.

  • Kathy Nelson

My sincere sadness at the loss of this officer and the loss to his family and friends, as well as the loss of his services to the people of Edmonton.

  • What was the nature of the crime for which he lost his life?
