CAIR Webinar: Ramadan in the Workplace: Know Your Rights

Can I take a break at work for Salat? How about for Iftar? Must I go in to work on Eid day?

These are common questions for American Muslims each year as they attempt to balance their obligations at work while also making the most of the blessed month of Ramadan. Join us for one of these “know your rights” webinars to learn the answers to these questions and better understand your rights in the workplace.

So it’s impossible to ask for time off or fast as you are the only person refusing to eat?

All muzz should have to spend Ramadan within he Arctic Circle.

I understand they’re looking at some sort of fatwa ruling to allow Far North dwellers to use Mecca hours but then, that would take logic to work so I don’t know what they’re going to do.

The ones in Yellowknife use their Edmonton clock.

          Both of them?

Meaning of course that if your employer is upset that you’re fasting & praying all day instead of working he has no right to do anything about it unless he wants to be sued by CAIR.

I know Muslims who work a full day despite keeping the fast. They have even grumbled to me about the difficulty and counted the days until it ended, but these are decent people genuinely trying to fit in.

    • FactsWillOut

      No, they aren’t.

I’ve got a bank head office friend who works with a few devout and nonpracticing Moslems and they don’t have any problems following (or not!) their Ramadan beliefs without making demands on the bank or their coworkers.

“Can I take a break at work for Salat? How about for Iftar?…”
You can take the next plane home, how’s that?

    • FactsWillOut

Yes, you can take a break, do you prefer the arm, leg, or jaw?

Was it Dougie Hooper the bearded pro-hamas muslim that has hissy fits on TV when he loses a debate and resort to crying racism and islamopjhobia.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Just following the example of his “prophet”.

    How about “know your responsibilities”?

  • Gary

Note how the hamas-linked CAIR did NOT remind muslims of the Rights for non-muslims that they should be sensitive to by their diets to eat pork , or, eat lunch while they must fast.

People are getting sick of this Master-Race sect of islam that wants 6,000,000,000 non-muslims to follow sharia law and halal diets during ramadan.

They would be happier if they moved to one of their utopic islamic hell-holes run by shraria where it sanctions child-bride pedophilia and murdering gays in public.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

“They would be happier if they moved…”
Ah, but the idea is to turn *here* into one of their islamic hell holes. There’s the rub.
