Paris migrant camp taken down over scabies fears

The 400 migrants who had set up a temporary shelter not far from Montmartre in northern Paris have been told to leave after officials warned of the high risks of epidemic sicknesses spreading.

The migrants had been camping beneath the overground Metro tracks near La Chappelle, just around the corner from the Gare du Nord and the Eurostar terminal.

The migrant camp underwent the first stages of evacuation on Thursday, however, prompted by French police, who said last week that the migrants were in “imminent danger” of falling sick.

This came shortly after a report from France’s health authorities revealed there were risks of epidemic sicknesses spreading…

Africa is massively overpopulated plus there is almost constant bush warfare and the famines they cause, this migrant population will continue to try and come to the west until the west is no more and the attractions of welfare and free goodies are irrevocably gone. The state the west will be in by that time is any bodies guess but I venture it will become a violent place similar to Somalia with brawling militiamen warlords and scant resources. Massive forced repatriation is the only recourse and it too will become swamped as more and more come, This is only the opening skirmishes in what will become a massive invasion and destruction .

I’m afraid you’re right. I can’t understand why the Europeans can’t see that. How stupid are they anyway?

I remember a humanitarian aid worker some years ago warning that we had to fix things over there(Africa) or they will come here. he was right here, they come

        • Alain

Sorry but I must disagree. It is not for us to fix things over there, it is up to them. What is imperative for us to do is to close the gates, but instead we reward them which encourages more of the same.

Stop feeding them and nature will do the rest.

In many places where the English went they wiped out the natural predators that posed a danger to them.
There are no bears in England.
But, the Africans have done nothing to eliminate the lions or the hippos or any of the other animals that pose a daily threat to them.
They have never tamed the wildebeest.
Or any of the other vegetarian beasties that run wild.
      Why is that?
I suggest that African wildlife has been a free buffet for them that the English were not afforded by their environment.
The English had to figure out how to secure food in a harsh climate and this innovation carried over into all others aspects of their culture.
Like investing in the children that they could afford to have instead of having as many children as they could in order to hope that a few of them might get far enough in life to take care of them in their old age.
