Liberal Party on its last legs

kathleen wynne and ben levin justin trudeau

This is it. This is the Liberal Party. A Pedophile. A Hairdo. A worse Hairdo that is running Ontario into the ground and a failed NDP’er.

It’s a bit premature, but it’s going to get asked sooner or later in this looming election cycle so let’s get it over with: Is the Liberal Party of Canada over? Toast? Finished?

You can only have an existential crisis for so long until it’s just too exhausting to keep it going.

That’s the mode the Liberals have been in since January 2006 when Stephen Harper was elected minority prime minister and the Liberals were out of office for the first time since 1993.

Here’s hoping the Federal Lieberals finally finish imploding at the coming election. While a two party system has its problems, as we can see in the US, our three party dance teams can pull the wool over our eyes nonstop.

    • It could happen, no one can honestly say they believe Justin is competent.

      • Frau Katze

I think you’re right. Mulcair comes across as much more mature.

        • By far, Justin is a lightweight, even Elizabeth May has more gravitas.

          • Minicapt

            She out-weighs him??

          • dance…dancetotheradio

            Holy low bar Batman!

  • Ad Ma

That’s not Ben Levin in the picture. Congratulations, you’ve just defamed some random guy (who isn’t Ben Levin) by calling him a pedophile.

    • I see the Liberal Party is still peddling that bullshit.

Yes some “random guy” sits besides the Liberal Party bigwigs.

      Too funny.

      • Brett_McS
        • I’ll say:) Actually I have a Hi Rez version of that pic should have used that one.

          • El Martyachi
          • Ad Ma

Doesn’t matter. Blaze and his friends *want* it to be true and that’s all that matters. Don’t confuse the issue with facts, El.

          • Nice try, but no sale.

          • Ad Ma

On the other hand, here’s Harper with his favourite pedo.

          • El Martyachi

I’m a long time reader and consider Blaze a cyberfriend. The photo may or may not be Levin. Someone with resources could definitively prove it either way. Either way, generally speaking, liberal+pederast= liberast.

          • No it isn’t.

          • That’s an unflattering pic, here’s a higer rez version of the Pride pic,
It’s him, note the ears are identical.

And if you search better Levin pics you’ll see its him.

The Liberal Party are justifiably embarrassed by this photo which sums up their rot.

          • El Martyachi

I’ve riffed on this photo more than most here and on SDA and no longer would bet that it’s him.

After zooming in and comparing ears (the most common feature probably).. even they’re different enough at the anti-helix. But that’s not what sold me… the chin, (especially nostril area of) nose, lips and shape of lower jaw. Guy in red shirt has a flatter looking profile.

I’m not a pro. Maybe if someone knows a pro they could look into this.

          • Liberal Progressive

Liar! We are not “justifiably embarrassed by this photo”.

We are proud Liberals. We are proud we represent all kinds of people regardless of their genders and beliefs and that these people are Liberal party members!

          • Ad Ma

Oh look, here’s Maggie Thatcher and her favourite pedo.

          • Ad Ma

            Ronny and his favourite

          • Ad Ma

Convicted pedophile Rolf Harris with Her Majesty.

          • Ad Ma

            No pedos here though.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

You also represent people who are craven and have despicable proclivities.

  • Ad Ma

“Editor’s Note: The original version of this article used a Reuter’s photograph, by Mark Blinch, of Liberal leaders Kathleen Wynne and Justin Trudeau attending the 2013 Pride March. The previous image caption identified the man sitting beside Trudeau as Benjamin Levin. The Newspaper has since received a letter from Rev Brent Hawkes, the ministry of the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto who organized the event, which states that the man we identified as Levin is actually a different person and a member of his congregation. We regret the misattribution.”

    • Why would anyone believe Hawkes?

No one is buying that horseshit. “Random guys” do not get to sit with the LPC braintrust.

      • andycanuck

And people’s ears are all unique. It’s him.

        • El Martyachi

          .. or maybe a brother.

      • Ad Ma

Why would anyone want to give up their privacy and subject themselves to the idiocy of the blogosphere or just have their name bandied about in association with pedophilia and child pornography? I know you really really want it to be Levin in the picture and aren’t terribly concerned about letting the facts get in the way of your desire to smear your political opponents but have you asked yourself why it is that the Sun stopped running that picture?

The Polyester Princess is ready to step into the breach when the federal Fibs come crashing down. I have long suspected this, but if you were watching last week’s Question Period on CTV, Gloria Galloway confirmed it. Her ambition knows no bounds.

    • I would love to see that;)

      • Waffle

Less than 5 months to go.

  • Brett_McS

The centre-left parties around the Anglo-sphere seems to embraced hard left positions in the last few years – and it isn’t doing them much good. Perhaps it is in a response to pressure from the greenies. Perhaps the old unionised workers are dying off and they are now run by the inner-city cafe late set.

Either way, as I have said for a long time now, though I know next to nothing about Canadian politics, I can’t see Harper losing this election. Ditto Abbott, and dittoed Cameron. The old centre left have left the playing field.

Obama would seem to be an exception, until one looks at the Federal Senate and the State houses. The only hard left winner in the US of the Obama years has been Obama himself.

    • Frau Katze

      I sure hope you’re right.

    • The good news is that Mulcair and Trudeau will damage each other more than they will Harper.

  • Speaksvolumes

Who would ever have thought this would happen ten years ago?

  • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

My favourite thing about our Premier is the way her head shakes nervously and she stutters while answering critical questions.

    I think that’s a compliment….??

  • John

Thomas Mulcair can really damage Justin in Québec. NDPers in Québec are all soft nationalists, and so they’ve very little impetus to vote for Trudeau. The Libs are mostly limited to winning seats in and around Toronto and in a tiny handful of ethnic neighbourhoods in Montréal.
