The rising cost of Islam: Extra Mounties guarding Parliament Hill ring up hotel bills

OTTAWA—The RCMP has earmarked $275,000 a month to cover hotel bills for officers brought in from across the country to bolster security on Parliament Hill, the Star has learned.

Extra Mounties have been reassigned in the wake of the Oct. 22 attack on Parliament to deal with what the RCMP has called a “critical shortage” of manpower.

The true cost of Islam in the west? We’ll never know the full truth. Cause it won’t be pretty.

Are hotels the best places giving them residence? Do politicians not know that hotels are expensive?

    • No they don’t because they don’t pay for them.

      • Observer

No its because the hookers feel more comfortable in hotels.

Meanwhile our army is deployed in countries that will never be saved, and we are spending 5 BILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR in foreign aid.

    • Observer

But we have to give billions every year to third world despots or they might call us….. racists! Now we can’t have third world despots calling us that can we?

  • Dana Garcia

Diversity isn’t free. Billions of dollars annually are spent to protect us from it — the whole airport x-ray scheme, security for big sports events, etc that is ever expanding.

The last time I was in the local travel office before it closed, we swapped stories about how fun it used to be to fly and isn’t any more.

  • Thinking From First Principles

Now that we are starting to wake up to the costs, please take this thought forward.
Why are we still struggling to recover the economy? Why hasn’t economic prosperity returned at years after the big financial crisis?
Look at the plans that Bin Laden announced to tank the economies of the western countries. Attacks on air, ground, rail, and sea-borne transportation have all caused the diversion of trillions of dollars from productive investments to unproductive security upgrades and processes. For example, the cables of the suspension bridges in my area have now been covered with heavy armor. Money for schools and science was diverted into armor that is unnecessary except for the existence of the Islamic threat. Taxes are increased to cover security making it impossible to provide the tax relief that would better benefit the citizens.
And this is exactly the way they triggered the First Dark Age by raiding across the Mediterranean and attacking into Europe.

You have to wonder why Canadians are letting this happen and doing nothing about it. Would it be because there are something like 7 or 8 million foreigners here, or would it be that Canadians born and raised here don’t have the same guts that their ancestors did, back when they fought and died for this country they believed in? We can vote all we want but there is not one politician running that is worth voting for who will fight for Canadians whose families have been here for 150 years or more. All the politicians think of are immigrants and refugees who will eventually vote for them and that is truly a shame.

        I’m mystified myself.
