Feds Pull Plug On Parliament Hill Draw Mohammed Day Due To Fears Of Multiculturalism

A last minute call came cancelling tomorrow’s Draw Mohammed Day on Parliament Hill.

No appeal was allowed according to the Heritage Canada spokesdhimmi.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with islam. Maybe there can be a pro-abortion rally instead, That always gets approval right away.

    • Alain

In my opinion it has everything to do with Islam/Muslims and an election year. Not suggesting this is acceptable, but you would see the NDP, Liberals, and the media party milking it as “racist”, “islamophobic” etc. for all it’s worth.

    • What’s to stop anyone else from drawing Mohammad (Pencils Be Upon Him)?

  • Dave

I used to have some hope federally, but…
Unfortunately, we have no viable alternatives. 🙁

    • DD_Austin

      Actually you can’t

You just get another moronic chief weasel

    • barryjr

Yeah and who you gonna elect, a fuzzy faced frenchman who sold out his Canadian citizenship to get through European airports easier or some substitute drama teacher that prays in a radical Montrreal mosque? You used to have hope are you referring to the late hypocritical saint rub and tug who lived in subsidized housing?

      • Dave

        Layton? hahahahaha! NOT A CHANCE!!!!
I don’t do lefty. Never have, never will.

      • DD_Austin

        leftists aside

what did we get offered, was predetermined to fail

        Joe ” the Turkey” Clark
        Kim “fat ass” Campbell
Lying Brian “I take small bribes” Mulroney

Reform screwed the game and after they sold out to the infiltrating
PCs, we got Stephen “Pigeyes” Harper, who proved by his “do nothing” majority that he was never a reformer and always a weasel.

All your voting does is legitimatize the government and the political process. And waste an hour of your time to boot.

  • Maurixio Garcia Sanchez

Where is the freedom of expression,is it gone for real mmm, now whats next, the sharia law I guess.

    • That was Sharia law.

      • Maurixio Garcia Sanchez

        A ok thanks.

  • Palidor

Canada hasn’t had freedom of speech for awhile now…

  • Everyone Else

    This is no joking matter.

We need a new real civil liberties association.

BCF, is there a lawyer up to the task?

    • Drunk_by_Noon

You don’t need lawyers, you need to show up and RIOT.
      That’s what you really need.

    • In Canada? I doubt it. Besides the law would side with Heritage Canada. They would counter that speech was not restricted by barring the event from Parliament Hill as the event could be held elsewhere.

  • wallyj180

One consolation is that is not a crime …yet.

If someone had plastic surgery to make them look like Mo, would that be blasphemy ?

  • Drunk_by_Noon

Yes, but now Canada will be safer!
    For now…
    Dane-geld = Civil Liberties
Once you start paying the Dane-geld…

Now I’ll hand this post over to Rudyard Kipling

It is always a temptation to an armed and agile nation
To call upon a neighbour and to say:
“We invaded you last night – we are quite prepared to fight,
Unless you pay us cash to go away.”

And that is called asking for Dane-geld,
And the people who ask it explain
That you’ve only to pay ’em the Dane-geld
And then you’ll get rid of the Dane!

It is always a temptation for a rich and lazy nation,
To puff and look important and to say:
“Though we know we should defeat you, we have not the time to meet you.
We will therefore pay you cash to go away.”

    And that is called paying the Dane-geld;
But we’ve proved it again and again,
That if once you have paid him the Dane-geld
You never get rid of the Dane.

It is wrong to put temptation in the path of any nation,
    For fear they should succumb and go astray;
So when you are requested to pay up or be molested,
You will find it better policy to say:

    “We never pay anyone Dane-geld,
    No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that pays it is lost!”

    • Frau Katze

      Spot on.

    • Well there is talk of countering Al Quds Day at Queen’s Park with a Draw Mohammed event. Now knowing the private army that calls itself the TPS you can expect that the artists will be arrested or at the least made to leave.

These are after all the same people that called an Israeli flag a provocation.

      • Xanthippa Socrates

Let me know where and when this will be and I’ll come down for the event!

        • Speaksvolumes

Can’t it be rescheduled? What’s preventing us from just going down there and doing it anyways? Will we be arrested?

  • Drunk_by_Noon

What’s to stop people from drawing Mohammid anyway and showing up with your GIANT Mohammid picture on the end of a stick, and then demonstrate, LOUDLY?
I still say rioting is a better idea, but if you don’t feel like doing the full Monty, then demonstrate.

  • just a thought

islame needs to FEAR involving itself in suppression of free speech. We, unlike them, aren’t (nor should we be) violent in our response. That is the job of the state; to suppress violent self-expression. Unfortunately, what the state does, is suppress the victims of the violent. Until the state does it’s job, and protects the victims of violence, not those using “victimization” as an excuse for the violence.

    • just a thought

“Until,…excuse for their violence, we will be deprived of our freedom, and violence wins. “

The ‘Khomeni Awakening Against Global Injustice’ gig is holding an art show so send all your drawings there.

  • Yusuf_Al_Kafir

Words cannot describe how much this irritates me.

A pathetic day in Canadian history. Ughhhh.

And since words won’t make me feel better, let me go grab a Co-ran and a cigarette lighter instead.

  • Speaksvolumes

Why can’t we just show up anyways?
