    I actually think it is likely simply a matter of two groups coming up with the same idea. It’s a fairly easy joke about a subject that was in the news and when you watch both sketches in their entirety, there are enough differences to suspect they were thought of independently.

    Do like the joke here though by Gavin.

    they stole the sketch .. doesn’t matta’ .. hope it penetrates the ignorant
    audience they have.. but not in the way we relate to the matter ..they will have to
    lose their toys before they get the message ..

    There is a difference. Canadians didn’t feel obliged to preface Muhammad with “The Prophet”.

    The Canadian sketch is older ,If they redid it today they would likely add “The Prophet”.I don’t think the meme went out yet to the media
